Remembering Walt Disney Video | RIP Cheryl Holdridge, Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeer
Cheryl Holdridge, one of the original Mickey Mouse Club Mouseketeers, has sadly died of lung cancer at the age of 64.

Annette was my first crush, from the Mickey Mouse Club to Walt Disney's Zorro. I still have some of her recordings on the old 45 records.

Annette is 9 months older then I. Although I never met her we were both born in Utica New York. Her two Cousins Leonard and Anthony Funicello Were my best friends And lived next door. Like every Teenage Boy..I also had a crush on her..and faithfully watched the show after American Bandstand every afternoon...Those were the days!

I have been a fan of Annette. My husband had the biggest crush on Annette. So needless to say we have a daughter named Annette. Also, on the orginial Mouse Club were Cheryl,Bobby, Darlene, Tommy,Doreen,Karen,Cubby Lonny and of course Sharon who is one of Annette's best friends. We also enjoyed Jimmie and Roy. Now you know I'm Old. It was a great time to come home after school and watch the Mickey Mouse Club. It was a time to enjoy shows especially for the family. When Annette was in Houston for the movie Babes in Toyland I won an autograph album from her.
