Answer to Annette Funicello's MS?

We just learned that my daughter has MS. she is 40, I just saw her last week. She walks with a cane, and it seems like she has had a stroke.Is that how MS works?
I am very conserned. Please, someone, help me to understand what is going on.
My prayers are with Annette and her family. I have loved her for a long time. She has shown herself to be a strong woman.
I lost my son almost 2 yrs. ago to an enlarged heart, I can't stand the thought of losing my daughter also.

Hi all-
Many prayers for Annette and all sufferers of MS. I am 32, mother of 3 boys under 3 with MS symptoms, mainly I am going blind. I see white spots and it feels like my blood circulation isn't getting to my eyes.
I had an mri done w/o contrast when my attack happened in july 08-it was clear. I can't find answers. Can anyone offer advice.
I am fighting by Prayer, being gluten free and exercise.

Please get tested for Lyme disease. Lyme is considered a great mimicker because it can mimic, MS, Lupus, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and ALS. I think we are going to find in the future that a portion of MS patients actually have Lyme disease. There is a new documentary out called, "Under Our Skin." Some of the people in this film were diagnosed with the above when they actually had Lyme disease. You must see a Lyme literate physician for testing. Regular physicians and infectious disease doctors are not educated in Lyme disease and will diagnose and even if positive will treat you improperly. Lyme can be treated and many of the symptoms if not all can clear with proper treatment.
