Off to search. I always enjoyed Anne Murray. Saw her perform live in the 80's when I lived in the Los Angeles area. She is no Elvis but has a nice sound of her own.

You know, Anne Murray, Carrie Underwood, LeAnn Rimes and several other female country artists got together and did a Christmas duets album with Elvis' voice. As far as I know, there are no videos. I looked on Youtube and CMT and searched and couldn't find anything. Let me know if you do!!

I used to have a VERY obnoxious and rather "mannish" sister in law named Ruth...who had a supreme pasion for Anne Murray....not that I particularly disliked Anne Murray , but I REALLY disliked my sister in law.........nother story there...anyway...she thought she WAS Anne Murray...always singing those somngs and playing those tunes RELENTLESSLY at family cook outs and gatherings ...in her car...at her house .....at EVERYONES HOUSE.........it got really bad....welll we were having a huge cookout for all the co workers at the Navy Base both her father and I worked at back in the 90's..and damn if sh didnt want to blast that Anne Murray tape on the Sterio in the garage. What she didnt KNOW was ...we had placed it in the freezer for several hours and alternately thawed it out in the blazing hot July Florida sun all the previous day....I never heard Anne Murray sound so funny...sped up...then slow ...agonizingly slow then super speed...she was PISSED..I mean PISSED....thats all.

What they did should be applauded. Anne Murray, by all accounts a fine human being, but her singing would grate on me after a few minutes.

Having fun I hope!!!:) Thanks for the clip. I could have done without Prissy in it of course. ;) I actually like Elvis singing pure by himself better.... but I like a few of those female singers. That cover is awesome. I always loved his profile. As I said in another thread it might be worth buying just for the PRETTY cover.:)

Bella is good. Her blindness was only for that two weeks and never came back! She is sleeping at my feet as I type.
