LOVED the show! Terrific acting, good old fashioned romantic comedy, very clever idea, ABC.

I think it's filmed in Canada. I read that AH moved up there to film the show. So, I guess that's where it's made.

It is probably filmed in studios in Vancouver, with outside shots filmed in and around Squamish, BC as the Chieftain Hotel is in Squamish. Squamish is located on the "Sea To Sky Highway" on the way to Whistler, BC. The area is a beautiful mountain and sea area - see you at teh 2010 Olympics!!

Hope this will not turn out like the show invasion! Everytime we find something we like you guys jerk it off. I am sick of the reallity shows.

This is a great show. Just read on topix.net that ABC did extend it for a full season and ordered more episodes. Looking forward to watching.

This is a fun, entertaining and FICTIONAL show! It doesn't really portray Alaska but it isn't the history channel so it doesn't bother me that they call a reindeer a caribou or that she has a "pet" racoon. Racoon? I had three moose in my yard earlier today but the last time I saw a racoon was on my grandmother's farm in Wisconsin! Regardless, we watch it regularly.
However, I do have to say that I almost turned it off and never looked back as soon as I saw Jewel on the show. Many Alaskan's do not really like Jewel. Maybe it was all those canceled concerts or maybe it was that in an early interview she said she was from California rather than Alaska. Hard to remember all the ways she has jilted Alaska but there are many radio stations here that take joy in announcing they just received the new Jewel cd so that they could throw it out without opening it.

Alaska is warm and real but Jewel turned on Alaska and there is not a lot of love for her here. So it while it was a writers mistake to have her "roll" through small town Alaska. It was appropriate however, to have the only person who knew her someone who supposedly hadn't lived here long. Maybe the day Jewel gives a public apology to Alaska we would treat her like the rest of our stars! Until then she is just another fraud in need of braces.

I love Men in Trees! It's funny, romantic and the scenery is soooo gorgeous! Does anyone know the name of the song Jewel sang on the show? I'm not a Jewel fan but liked the song.

I think it is Stewart, BC. We were there last summer.

The show is not filmed in Alaska, its filmed in Vancouver and also some scenes in Squamish, BC like the bar they are always in.

It's called Good Day

It is filmed in a small logging town called Squamish, located approximately 40 minutes from Vancouver. The movie "Insomnia" with Al Pacino and Robin Williams was also filmed there.

Love the show and story line. Actors/Actresses are great and matched so well. Hope they stay on tv as it is one of the FEW shows I watch. Most TV reality shows, etc, is pure garbage.

just started watching the show.not really an Ann Heche fan, she has "issues" but really like the show. however, TOTALLY, reminds of Northern Exposure. hope they keep it on the air. NO MORE REALITY SHOWS PLEEEEAASE.

I love the show very much. I would like to know where it is actually filmed. I'm planning a cross country ride next year and want to go to the same area. I am almost sure that it is in BC. I do I find out for sure?
