Thinworthy, I believe everything the nannies said. Why would they lie? I believe Anna was kept drugged, and I believe what they said about Howard and Eroshevich writing checks on her account. I believe the nannies' statements that Anna signed papers when Howard presented them when she said she couldn't see what they were, and he said "just sign them". Why would the nannies make anything like that up? They were naive and unsophisticated. Therefore, I certainly agree about your statement that if she had sobered up and been lucid she would have gotten rid of the problems. She was an addict by her own admission. Her addiction was not just fed, she was given an avalanche of drugs according to the documented evidence. She was clearly drugged in pictures that I don't think were allowed to be viewed by the jury. But 96 pictures that Howard took were allowed, but not the pictures of Anna lying in a bed looking unconscious with "stuff" on her mouth, Anna in the tub with her doctor was allowed, Anna in clown makeup and incoherent, Daniel's dead body, but all those pictures and others were not shown to the jury. All very sad and so unnecessary and tragic for young Daniel and Anna to be dead. Just my opinions.

Anna and Daniel, both died under Stern's watch. Daniel was not a known addict. There were no drugs found in his tissues on the autopsy. He died from a methadone overdose. Was it the same methadone that Kapoor shipped for Anna to the Bahamas? Drugging a known or unknown addict to me is the same when it results in death. What this trio of tried felons did was wrong and they should face the consequences. If they are let free, it will set the wrong precedent to others enablers. Patients and clients need to be protected from doctors and lawyers like these three. Michael Jackson's lawyer was charged with involuntary manslaughter. It makes no sense reading in every article that this trio is charged with enabling Anna with drugs, not with her death. If it wasn't of their drugs, Anna and Daniel would still be alive.

Plaudits to a jury who despite the biased and unprofessional behavior by the judge still stayed focused on justice. Perry's behavior was and is a blight on the judicial system. Such a biased attitude and rudeness toward the prosecution, and allowing all privileges to the defense, and even removing charges and threatening to change the jury's verdicts???? What is wrong with this picture?
