Court Documents Say Anna Nicole’s Doctor and Howard K. Stern Crushed Up Drugs And Injected The Model

Some of us are easily confused. LOL

Over two years since her tragic death, Anna Nicole Smith may finally be getting some justice. The three principles suspected in illegally providing her with drugs which lead to her overdose -- psychiatrist Khristine Eroshevich, internist Sandeep Kapoor, and attorney Howard K. Stern -- have all been slapped with felony chargnes. Stern was arraigned on all eleven and the two doctors were arraigned on six each. 10:50 am: Court is in recess. A handwriting expert for the DA's office is meeting with Stern and attorneys in private to go over some journals.

10:35 am: Court resumes.

10:20 am: Everyone returns to chambers.

10:00 am: Judge Wesley ordered the DA's office to go through over 1, 100 pages of court documents to make sure the defendant's lawyers had all the details of the witnesses prior to the preliminary hearing. Sadow claims that witness details had been kept from them and that the names of individuals were taken out by the DA's office. Stern is arraigned on all 11 counts and Kapoor and Eroshevich on six each. All three have plead not guilty.

9:45 am: The trial is starting.

9:27 am: They have handed out a felony complaint. Stern is now named in all 11 counts of prescribing, administering, and dispensing controlled substances to an addict. This is the second amended felony complaint.

9:20 am: Stern and Kapoor chat in open court. Stern looks nervous. Eroshevich is sitting away from them with private investigator John Nazarian.

8:45 am: Eroshevich and Kapoor have arrived in court. The two (along with Stern) have pleaded not guilty. Stern’s lawyer Steve Sadow is present as are Adam Braun, Eroshevich’s lawyer, and Ellyn Garafalo, Sadeep’s lawyer. District attorney Rennee Rose is also in the room.

Stern has pleaded not guilty to the latest charges.

In March 2007 – roughly four weeks after Smith died in a Florida hotel room, Broward County Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Perper had asked Smith's friend and personal psychiatrist, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich, to help him tally all the drugs Smith had been taking.

Prosecutors expanded their case against Anna Nicole Smith’s attorney and companion today, charging him with five additional crimes and placing him at the center of what authorities say was a conspiracy with two doctors to funnel excessive amounts of prescription drugs to the late model.

The Los Angeles district attorney’s office added four counts of obtaining a prescription for opiates under a false name or address and one count of prescribing, administering or dispensing controlled substances to an addict to the half-dozen charges Howard K. Stern was already facing.

The counts were previously included in the complaint naming Stern, Dr. Sandeep Kapoor and Dr. Khristine Eroshevich as conspirators, but each charge applied only to one of the physicians. With the additional charges, Stern is named in all 11 counts of the complaint and the doctors face six.

Deputy Dist. Atty. Sean Carney downplayed the move as a correction to a “clerical omission” in previous complaints, but Stern’s attorney said it showed a lack of confidence by prosecutors.

“They are using a shotgun approach. Throw everything at the wall and see what sticks and the answer will be nothing sticks,” lawyer Steven Sadow said.

A preliminary hearing to determine whether prosecutors have enough evidence to proceed to trial is set for Oct. 5, but prosecutors plan to ask for an eight-day delay to evaluate handwriting samples taken today from Stern and Kapoor.

Smith died from an overdose of prescription drugs in 2007.

In Oct 2002 when Granoff sued, he was showing "Shebby and Stern" as a defendant in addition to Howard K Stern. That is the "partner" that claimed hks never brought in any income so he had to dump him.

Middleton and the children--ages 11 months, 2 and 3--in Southwest Los Angeles on Jan. 30, 1995. The suit does not specify damages.

Thanks for that info DD on the drugs she was taking. THAT is a drug addict, no question about it. We all knew that, just seeing her on her reality show, on ET in interviews slurring her speech, etc.

Sadow said that Anna Nicole Smith was not a drug addict. NOT TRUE. In this YouTube video before Smith met Stern she speaks about her addiction. Once an addict, always an addict. If an addict is not using, they are classified as being in recovery. Addiction can not be cured. California Attorney General Jerry Brown in his initial complaint against the trio also designates Smith as a “known addict”.

The shear volume of drugs that she was prescribed and consumed and the types of drugs from benzodiazepines to opiates, including the Chloral Hydrate which killed her are not indicative of normal usage. Read the full 111 page search warrant detailing the amount and depth of drugs prescribed to Smith.

WHAT bathtub is it? We don't know since we don't see it. Bahamas bathtub is assumed but if we have learned anything, it is never assume.

Are they in the Bahamas bathtub?
Or w/ all the twists and turns ...
could they be in the bathtub at the Hard Rock?

So why did Howard state in his depo that is being released from Chin that she wasn't on any drugs when DL was born? That's perjury, isn't it?

Alex Katz stayed at the Hard Rock Feb 5-7.
Left Wednesday, the same day KE left.
Filled two prescriptions in FL meant for Anna Nicole at Walgreens.

Alex told investigators there is no such person as "Irma Katz", it is a fictitious name made up to obtain the medication.

Why does Perper's / Seminole Police "Official" list not show any script to "Irma" Katz and assigns the Tamiflu medication to "Alex" Katz?

Why does Perper's / Seminole Police "Official" list show Lasix under Howard Stern name? Warrant states found in the room; a bottle of Lasix prescribed by KE to herself.

FYI
Investigator that went to Perp's office and visually saw the bottles .. states 12 "medications" were found in the hotel room.
Official list from Perper reflects 11 not twelve.

This is because the investigator is counting TWO scripts of Carisoprodol as 'one' medication and including two additional medications not on the list that the investigator states are 'over the counter medication from the Bahamas'. The meds are Tylenol PM and Codis 500 (acetaminophen and codeine).
