Nikki Bacharach, daughter of Burt Bacharach and Angie Dickinson, committed suicide, the songwriter and actress said in a statement Friday.

Oh thats horrid.
Suicide is just evil. The parents will now suffer for the rest of their lives. My prayers are with Burt and Angie |

You got to wonder if they knew it was coming...either way it is so sad.

As a parent with a son who suffers from Autism, this story feels so personal. God bless Burt and Angie. Nikki was weary of her battle. God rest her sweet heart.

Oh, and by the way: Obviously her parents knew she was in a really bad place. Look at their statement to the press.
The girl is finally free of her pain - and people should be happy about that, not calling her names or putting her down. |

My prayers for Angie and Burt, but especially for Angie, being that Nikki was her only child. I have a nephew with the disorder. It's been both a blessing and a curse. This is not good news.

People with Aspergers have trouble assimilating the entire world. Nikki was overwhelmed. I am very familiar with Aspergers, as I have a grandson who struggles with it on a daily basis. I hope allaboutnothing can get some counseling to deal with whatever is causing such anger toward someone who reached out for peace the only way she could see. |
