My favorite Agatha Christie character of all times, but why do you look younger on your recent trip on the OE than you did in your characterization of Poirot?

Prefer the 2006 version. This one was wrong, not the Poirot I am used to - and when did he get a rosary?

Worst Suchet-Poirot I've ever seen. Music like cats scratching on blackboards. Acting sub-par. Casting ludicrous. Direction amateurish at best. And our beloved Poirot turned into a nearly psychotic zealot? Non, non, non!

This movie went deeper than all the other Poirot films/tv shows. We saw a different side to Poirot and I found it refreshing and thought-provoking. Suchet did a fantastic job. I do feel however, that the other characters were not fully realized and there was not enough time spent on them. I didn't really connect to their passion for what they did and therefore I was less attached to their fate. I recall from the other movies that I felt for the 12 and wanted them to get off. This time I was more conflicted, like Poirot. I suspect that was the intent.

I LOVE David Suchet as Poirot! I used to watch his Poirot series every Sunday when it used to be on the Biography Channel (along with Midsummer Murders!)

I could compliment this movie for attempting to make Poirot's character a lot deeper in this adaptation of "MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS". But I can't. I found a good deal of the changes unnecessary and contrived. And this does NOT feature one of Suchet's best performances as Poirot.
