Amazing Grace is a FABULOUS film, a must see for history buffs, those who like period movies and for those interested in seeing just a darn good movie!

Ah yes, yet another movie to have whites grovel and writhe in Trent Lott fashion about slavery. Of course no one mentions that it was blacks who sold other blacks into slavery. Also that many of the largest slave holders in the South were black or that there was slavery in NEW YORK CITY. Also that the emancipation proclaimation freed slaves only in the South and that "honest Abe" wished to send them back to Africa. Was slavery wrong - YES! But let us make sure that we condemn ALL the guilty parties - including the blacks own people!
