Ash looks white?

Has anyone seen the trailer for Mistress of Spices? She is the same colour as her co-star, Dylan McDermott. Not that i'm saying anything, but then i remember she was Prasanth's colour in Jeans. Maybe she is like a cameleon? Matching her skin color to her co-star's skin?
Just a silly topic, really. I wonder if anyone else has noticed her skin change?

It's called make-up as romy pointed out. I've seen so many of her photos, as has everyone else, but many times she looks very dark and other times, she looks white. And the lighting was pretty fair too. So it has to be the make-up.

Shah Rukh said he was very attracted to Mahduri when he first starred with her in a film and thinks of Aishwarya as more of a sister. I swear that's what I heard!
As for Aishwarya, let's not forget she is South Indian, she actually has dark skin, which would not be unusual for a girl from Karnataka or whatever it's called, but she's not fair at all. In fact, the Miss India producers didn't want her because she was not light enough Can you believe that? And look at her now, she's got paler skin than North Indian actresses like Kareena Kapoor and Mahima Choudery.
Trust me it's all make up and whitening cream...India is notorious for these products since it has an extremely large skin-lightening industry. Rekha is dark but over the years she has lightened her skin, same with Sri Devi, and now Aishwarya...so typical of bollywood stars...

Lights can make manny changes to the skin,ofcourse,eyes are lighter,the hear shinner!The photographer makes the light to other motives.Lighter jeans=lighter skin! O.K?

I dunno for some reason aishwarya looks so artificial to me. Infact her wax statue looks more real than her! She got a mimic face, goldfish lips and just a fake personality

i dont get why people say aish is fake, u know who's fake, rani and preity and all those other actresses, when people say aish is fake or something it sounds like they're jealous of her but its ok cause she's that pretty

What do u think of south indian girls? Shouldn't they be beautiful just b'coz they have got a bit darker skin? Then why the hell do u make these girls as your dream girls and worship in the film industry? I personally think Aishwarya has very beautiful features. Her nose, eyes, face-cut, mouth....she undeniably - has beautiful features.

As for skin color- is this how the Eastern World such as countries like India/Pakistan determine beauty- via skin color??? The whiter you are the better looking?

I swear I met this punjabi girl who was so white but had really ugly features- her nose was like a cucumber and her teeth was gappy and spaced-out and let alone her eyes which were bulging. Coz of her skin color people looked twice but when they came near her they took off. lol

Basically my point is- if you have beautiful facial structures and features- doesnt matter what color you are- you will shine through. Look at the African singers like Beyonce? Or Halle Berry?

I have seen pics of Ash where she looks quiet dark and then others where she looks pale white but she looks gorgeous in both shots..

I think this skin color thing is so overrated. Preity is fair but she is heinous. She has a squashed potato look and Karishma is just ugly fullstop. I have seen her in real life. Her sister is better looking than her but even so Kareena is still ugly.

Kajol is ugly without makeup and so is Rani. Basically, i have seen desi girls on the street much much more better looking (regardless of skin color)than these actresses/models who are painted from head to toe.

I sometimes think these actresses and models are there coz of their insecurities.

Its all about how one takes care of themself and carry themselves.

Above all- its on one's intelligence. An Indian will always be know as a 'Black' person or "dark-skinned' person in this world so for people going out of their ways to lighten themselves so they can look a bit gora- need some serious medical help!
