Robert Plant should be ashamed of himself for not being involved, especially for the band that made him what he is today!!!

Robert Plant with faggy waggy music is like
Hulk Hogan prancing around on stage with a pink tuu tuu and balerena booties.

What a weak, lame, laughable shame!!!!!!!!!

The least Plant could do is give us all one last Led Zep "short" tour (maybe 6 mos out of his whole life)and put the whole thing to rest once and for all......... then go have fun exploring
musical caves if that is what he needs to do - problem solved..everyone is happy....

Instead-Robert Plant is on the verge of going down in history as the most hated scoundrel superstar of all time.

It's all so stupid too. Plant claims he wants to explore diffrent things BUT - he may be pleasantly surprised as to what interesting, compelling music may be born.
There has been ALOT of time for growth from the remaining members and Plant may be ignoring the very thing he is hoping to find in music.

Plain blind stupidity? Or just a sad case of destructive self righteousness?

Yep... that was spot on analysis alright. I would only add to that the fear factor. He could possibly be scared shtless that he doesn't have the ability to write anything worthy of the zep catelog and want's to continue the illusion that he is infallable with regard to Led Zeppelin music.

We all know that creativity comes and goes and has peaks and they have probably run there coarse for RP; but as you said... all this time and the added maturity and reflection on past music could be a creative spark that really conjurs up something spectacular.

Why not just do the 6 month tour and make everybody happy and while it's going on they can share songs and hold some jam sessions for new stuff and see what happens... if it's nothing then they still have a great end; if they come up with some magic then he can put an age old question to rest and give us something to grow old with. God how I would love another Led Zeppelin album; it would revive the existing catelog and give me some more songs to learn how to play... and I would be so fn elated that I could believe in something again... I always thought it would happen.

I guess sometimes we really know nothing at all...

Plant's been "exploring new things" for decades now, with mixed results. Led Zep might be so old that it's new again. Oh well, he's a jerk. I hope they find some decent "have voice will travel" type to fill in. Paul Rodgers (try the new Queen album by the way - it's better than you might think) is taken, but what about Sebastian Bach? Or me?

Sabastian was a great singer; I haven't heard him lately; but 18 and Life... Remember... what's not to like about that voice. Anyway, whoever it is I think they're very close to letting us know.

It's kind of like the 700 Billion dollar bail out though... we don't want them to snatch up the first great voice that comes along just because it works... like JPJ said... "it's gotta be right."

Skid Row was very cool...

I think it's great that Jimmy and JPJ are going to continue working together. If you listen to the CD Jimmy did with David Coverdale you can tell that he can still rock and create killer riffs. That would have been an even cooler CD if JPJ was on there adding even more great riffs and a bunch of other instruments. I was also a fan of the JPJ solo CDs that came out a few years back. If you listen to those CDs you can hear incredible bass playing with monster riffs, but they could have been even greater CDs if Jimmy was on there adding some ingredible riffs over JPJs killer bass lines and maybe some great solos. If these guys team up again in the studio and want to really rock out we could get a really incredible CD. The only thing they need to find is a singer with a great voice that has some writing ability. Jason is also an incredible drummer that can add excitement to the mix. I would think it would be cool if Robert was in the band for live purposes, but I think he would prevent them from rocking out in the studio. I think Jimmy and JPJ are showing class by not calling the new band Led Zeppelin. I wish them the best and I will definitely buy any CD they produce and I can't wait to see them in concert.

Hey Joe, I've been thinking the same thing about Plant... he would probably just prevent them from doing the kind of thing we want them to do so much... it's better this way. Everybody has to want to do it; I just don't understand why he doesnt' want to... but hey that's his call.

I can't wait to buy that CD... it will be money well spent and I'll be smiling from ear to ear when I buy it and IT WILL HAPPEN!!!

After decades of dormancy, the Led Zeppelin Beacon has now been activated..........

Out of respect, Jimmy Page has answered the call - John Paul Jones has answered the call - Jason Bohnham has answered the call for his father,
where is Robert Plant?

Oh yes I forgot - he is too busy exhalting himself as the light of Led Zeppelin eternally shines on his face.

Sing for us - you'll do fine! Make the call NOW!!

Really, MAKE THE CALL... NOW!!!

I wish we could get to him somehow... I think he stopped reading the forums and magazines a long time ago and now he just has people do it for him... but just in case he sneaks a peek once in a while...

I can see it now...

RP: Oh driver, take me to someplace where my fans like to hang out...

RP: I'm just going to look on the web on my lap top for the world news... I'm concerned about the 700 bail out.

Driver: But sir... If you don't mind me saying I think your really fn this whole zep reunion thing up.

RP: Do I pay you to think??? Huh do I pay you to think?

Driver: no.

RP: Alright then...

RP: Lets see... click on the Topix page and scroll down to favorites... click on Plant and Krauss... ahhh there we are...

Chris would be great... don't even care if they have a singer... at this point I'd go see them if it was all instrumental... or they had Mary Clooney... i really don't give a sht ... just want to see them. Too bad all the cry babies (including Plant) had to go f it up... Long Live Page!!!

JPJ is gonna do something with Foo... hopefully they bring in Master Page.

From what I've seen I think it's over plant's voice has changed so his concept about rock,as you can see he is no longer enjoying been ex- zeppelin.Well nothing (down here) is eternal, but everything changes.
I still remember scorpions ,Quiet riot, black sabbath and others...
If they don't change they disappear that's for real....
