Black Sabbath invented HM
but musically i dont think they should be in the top 5
death and black metal are too HM

1.Pantera (HM in its purest form)
2.Judas Preist (first band to perfect HM)
3.Slayer (true Thrash Metal)
4.OLD Metallica (just kickass)
5.Venom (for starting extreme metal)
6.Black Sabbath (for starting HM)
7.Death (for perfecting death metal)
8.Alice In Chains (is a HM band, and kicks ass)
9.Mayhem (the reason black metal exist)
10.Motley Crue (kicks ass as well)

Wtf acdc is not metal. i know thats been said but, that means it true

metallica is better than acdc sounds like crap since the first vocalist died

In no way that Kiss and AC/DC are more metal than Megadeth and if MTV thinks that they are they should not judge that type of music. Metal should be left to Metal Heads not vagina wipes(MTV)

now personally i think the last 4 should be off because every1 hear whos a AC/DC fan has heard angus and every1 say "Were a rock n roll band thats all weve said to be"
now if this was a greatest bands list it would be pretty good if AC/DC was number 1
