Good thing they went back to t-shirts and jeans. That shit is gay! Bowie or Rod Stewart were genuine talents, poor Dave was just mediocre in that genre. We've all been mediocre. He might have done better as bit of a crooner for the youngins Leif Garret style. Were 13 year olds legal then? Have u heard Dave's newest stuff? It's nothing like his old band "rabbit" or Evan the stuff he did with acdc. His newest stuff is awesome.

I only vaguely remember this story from 4 or 5 years ago. Haven't heard of any of his bands or material. Surprising, as I always considered myself a bit of a music buff. He well and truly slipped into obscurity I think. Will be definitely checking it out. He actually sounds like a decent and honest guy in the interviews I've read. Thouroughly interesting accounts of Angus for example, first putting on the schoolboy outfit and transforming his stage presence from playing and nodding his head, to 'BANGING' and the Chuck Berry duck walk. Pretending to be 16 when he was 19 etc.. gold!

There's footage on YouTube, if u get a chance check out his song "we don't dance to your song" and the title track from "judgement day" with the same name there totally awesome.

His music sounds so much like early ac/dc.. yet some 30 odd years later.. will be 40 soon.. god help us! Lol. His influence as a founding member was definitely evident in the early Bon Scott era. But I can't help but wonder if be might have had more success if he changed the formula to suit his voice more than his successor. He has never left Bon Scott's shadow, which is a little sad for him, but you can tell he always respected him despite what happened, which is commendable. But showbiz is about making friends with your audience too I guess. Great to hear classic ac/dc again. Which is essentially what it is. He deserves more credit, that's for sure.

Wow I took the time to listen to the songs you mentioned Struck... I would not mind AC/DC replacing Brian Johnson with Dave Evans. For what it's I like it a lot. He would be awesome with AC/DC. I means hes great, but him singing for AC/DC would actually be a perfect fit... Haha Truly good stuff.

Glad u dig it, Dave is trully 2 underrated people jump on the band wagon because of acdc. Don't get me wrong acdc is my favorite band but I hate it when people hate Dave cause of other people lol. They should judge him on his music and not on his time with acdc.

I've actualy had conversations with him about being back in acdc at least for 1 album he said it would never happen wich is a shame. Dave really has come into his own as a singer. The song "we don't dance to your song" kind of reminds me of ronnie James dio the way he sings it lol.

My question is...does anyone have a copy of the "Can I sit next to you, girl" single...with Evans doing the vocals??? I have never heard it...The version on the OZ "TNT" LP (and the American "High Voltage" LP) is definitely Bon Scott.... I have this single it's actually pretty decent but his later stuff in my opinion is a lot better

Also we're just ppl that can use r own heads and listen to him and decide if we like him or not. U on the other hand don't like him because other ppl don't that's the problem with today's society no one can think for themselves.

I just thinks he looks creepy in the youtube video, I didn't really think he sounded the way I like either. That is my personal opinion. You seem to be very emotionally attached to this man. Of course no one can think for themselves der that's part of being human.
