how much do you hate the jonas brothers????

Okay, here's the deal.
It's okay to not like their music. It's okay not to like the style of music they play.
But it's not okay, to go off and deem them devils to the music world and that they should "die." How can you say that? Have you met them? I doubt it, if you hate them.
They can't be horrible, if people like them. And quite a few people do. They have tons of fans - which totally contradicts what some of you have said about "no one likes them, they're gay."
Since when? Last I checked, they've only dated girls.
And Hannah Montana - where does she come in? They haven't even talked in months. She's not the Jonas Brothers - she's Miley Cyrus. Go make a thread about HER only - don't drag her in with JB. It doesn't make sense. Their music is totally different.
Jonas writes their music,(excluding Year 3000 and What I go to School For) and plays their instruments. They are good Christian guys with great heads on their shoulders, who are great role models.
Their music doesn't have to be your style - thats quite allright if it's not, really. It's not my brothers style at all - but he has stopped trashing them, because he knows that they aren't TRYING to be that style. They can sing - you know it. Better than you, most likely. They can play guitar - you know it. Maybe not like some other great bands, but remember - they are teenage boys. They play pretty darn well to me! Multi talented - Nick Jonas can sing, play drums, play guitar, and play piano.
Thier music has brought me out of plenty of hard times. I look up to Nick, for singing about his diabetes and telling us how he manages it and keeps his head up high. I respect you don't like their music, but it inspires so many. You can't call it "crap" if it does that. It talks about love, heartache, heartbreak, and being strong (A Little Bit Longer.) I look up to them, and their songs - for a non-negative experience.
So if you don't like their music, thats FINE. But if you don't like THEM, or "hate" them, that's JUST NOT POSSIBLE. At all. You don't know them. You've never met them. It's impossible.
I'm not trying to be rude - at all. I respect some opinions that have been expressed. I completely disagree, but hey. Its life. But don't assume, and don't speculate, what you do not know.

Oh, and their music isn't all "kiddie stuff" like someone said. Some of it is, I know it.
But some of it's not.

Yeah, you're right. But there's still no proof they're straight. They could be covering it up or they might be something like bisexual or even transexual. Now, I'm not saying they're not straight. I'm just saying you shouldn't assume. Even if the person SAID they were straight, they could be covering it up, as I have said. Nobody will probably EVER know, except for them, unless they suddenly came out of the closet (if they are gay in the first place, again, I'm not saying they are.) And even then, if they WERE to tell you they were gay, then that still doesn't mean they are. They could be mocking REAL gays. So, whatever they were to tell you, you will probably never know what their orientation is, even if you met and asked.

If I "know" they can sing and play guitar well, then why am I trashing it? Really, I don't think they can sing or play guitar. Especially, the singing. Also, what does being a teen have to do with it, for the last freaking time? I've seen plenty of teenagers with a LOT more talent than the JBs'.

True story, Witch 101. But if they couldn't sing, Nick especially - why would he have been cast on Broadway? Just an afterthought. I completely respect what you are saying about the teen thing, by the way.

But, again, my own afterthought - which I'm entitled to - I think they have immense talent. So, its an opinion. It's not a fact there are "plenty of teenagers with more talent" because talent is different to different people.

Uh, where I come from, being on a team gives absolutely no indication of how good your grades are. You could fail a class and still be on the team.

Don't get fame into their heads? The jonas brothers don't let FAME go to their HEADS?!? Just the fact that they work for Disney is proof enough that they wanted nothing BUT fame. They already were in a movie, guest appearances in god-knows-how-many shows, and now, their getting their OWN TV show. It seems to me that jb likes the limelight a little too much.

Its an opinion about if they are shit or not, basically. It's not a fact - and I wish people would stop saying it like it is. It's not a fact they are great lyrics either, its just to each it's own. So in your opinion they are, but to some, like me, they're not.

I went to one two nights ago, and they were in fact playing their own instruments, with also Garbo (their bassist) and JT (a guitarist) and Jack Lawless (their drummer, when Nick is not playing drums but is playing guitar or piano.) They all play instruments - so no, while they do have assitance, they do too play their instruments. Also, I've watched plenty of concert Youtube videos, been to one myself, and never have seen them "kick their nards off." Please, provide me with proof. You sound like you truly have some.

Again, I'm not trying to bust up your "hate" party - really. I don't believe in tearing down another's opinion, unlike some people on this board, but I respect it.
