Potential Break up song was about a guy who forgot to call her on her birthday. Joe Jonas said that one of the worst breakups he had was when he forgot to cal his gf and it was her birthday. So she sent him a piece of her melted birthday cake in the mail. And AJ wrote that song with her sister. Joe and AJ never talk or barely see each other anymore for that reason.

They broke up because Joe was on tour and Aj's Birthday flew by his head..as in Aj waited ALL DAY for him to call but he dirin't..So she called him and told him it was her Birthday and he apoliyized(or however you spell it)..but it was too late.And the Aly & Aj song ''Potential BrakeUp Song''...i was listening it the other day...and discovered something.I renembered how Joe & Aj broke up...so i listened very well the part that said ''For the fact that was my Birthday my stupid birthday''..and this one...''I can't have a boyfriend who will forget that,who will forget that''...does it remind you of anything???!?!?!??Yep..and idk but I also think that the JB song ''Still in love with you''...it's a way for Joe to tell Aj that's he's still in love with her..I don't if its true but I think...I kno that Joe wrote it...but I think he's over her now...anyways your welcome for the reason!!!!!.....
