Evil Stepmother!!

I don't care if anyone reads this, but I just need a place to vent about this stupid crap. My mom died when I was 13, and only six months later, my dad had proposed to this woman whom he married another six months later. He tore up our house to add rooms to make room for her children forcing us to live in a rented house RIGHT after they got married. My dad asked my before they got married what I thought about, that he just wanted some feedback to see how I felt about the whole situation, and when I told him I was opposed to it and that I didn't like her, he blew up and basically told me that it didn't matter what I thought. Why did he ask for my opinion in the first place then?!
Anyways, she has lived in my house ever since which is about 4 of 5 years, and our relationship is just as bad as ever. She is terrible to me and makes up completely fabricated situations to tattle on me to my dad just to get me in trouble. She treats her own children like they don't do anything wrong even when they make the same mistakes (normally concerning trivial things like forgetting to sweep the floor one day) as I do. Like today, I was moping our floor when she comes in as was like "do we not pick up that rug when we mop anymore?" (talking about a rug in front of the kitchen sink that her own children never move when they mop, and she knows it). I responded by saying that nobody else moves it. she then freaks out and says, "I guess you don't see me on my hands and knees while you are at school scrubbing that floor!!" (which I know she doesn't do. Why should we mop every week if she scrubs the floor on her "hands and knees" like she says. That is total bull) I say, "I just meant Josh and Gabrielle." She then turns around and points in my face saying "You know what?! You are on VERY thin ice with me!" and stomps away and slams the door. I didn't mean anything offensive by when I said, and I hadn't even foreseen any confrontation considering I was at least DOING my chores when she had done her son's for him 10 minutes earlier. And I know that sounds trivial, but it is just stupid crap like this all the time, every day. It never ends.
I am just tired of her trying to make my life a living hell just so she can feel superior to me or something. It just seems like she has to always boss me around so that she appears to be the top dog, the one who has all the control so that I don't attempt to overlook it.
Like honestly, I don't even know where she comes up with some of the crap she tells my dad...no idea.
And now, because she is always so confrontational, I feel tense every time I am around her. I hate even talking to her or being in the same room with her, because I never know when she is going to blow up. I don't WANT to be constantly fighting with her. I would rather we just not speak...just leave me alone and there won't be any problems. I do pretty much everything they both ask of me, unlike her own children, but it is just never enough. I am sick of it. Luckily I will be out of here in a little over a year.

Maybe, some of the things she says are things SHE'S done when she was a kid or things she does secretly. But she doesn't want anyone to know, because, maybe, she wants people (her kids, your dad) to think she's perfect? So, she just blames it on you?

Gosh. That's really horrible. I hate it when stepmothers are like that. She's like turning your dad against you because she's his new wife, and when the question, "Who are you going to believe, your own kid or your new wife?" comes up, he'll most likely go with, "My wife," because a kid can't divorce their father, but you only know that if she's the drama queen and liar you make her out to be, she'll throw, no, scream quite a fit. Jeez. But don't worry. Y'know, you've survived that long with her, another year and you're gone. I think you can do it.:]

I feel the same way. My dad is getting married and he didn't want me to know yet. But she has 3 kids 2 the same age as me[14] the other is a year older than me. I cant waight untill I go to that wedding:]She is such a bitch!!!!!

she is so evil! when i read that it made me tear up! u should'nt put up with that crap.talk 2 ur dad about it and if he takes ur evil step mom's side just start agruing.if i were u, i wouldnt put up with her bull shit.i would say 2 her u r not my mother.i hate you and 2 upset my dad and 2 get her in trouble i would tell my dad how evil she is 2 me then the next day i will leave home while nobody is there.
