How can we stop racism?

What can we do NOW to stop racism?

I think the word racism has been over used lately and Racism is a personal choice.

You can't stop folks thinking the way they want..you can only stop them from acting on thier beliefs.

At least here in the USA,we are still free to think as we choose.

It is so very frustrating to me,Because I am a child of the 50s and I saw things then that needed changing,There were others who did also, and its like all those efforts by civil rights activists was in vain.and a lot of the problem is Anger. about things that happened long before any of us were born.There is not a thing we can do about it.I rode on busses and saw that folks were forced to sat in the back of the bus,I thought it was horrible.When I was old enough to see that some people had to sat up in the balcony, at the theater I went to,I thought it was awfull.If folks of all races would try and forget about past mistakes made by our forefathers,I think that would help to give us unity.You know not all whites agreed with treatment shown to African Americans,"I keep waiting on the world to change". I would like to see it in my lifetime,But I dont know."Our colors are human".

IDK all i can say is that everyone is the same to me and we should all respect that ok

You are so very right about not being able to stop people from the way they think, only stop them from acting.

The human race cant and never will be able to live together. There is a reason for this. The only thing that will bring us all together is a common enemy, that is how we are. The common enemy would probably have to be from another world, then we will all see each other as one. Just a theory, I'm no expert

Send all the racists to an island and let them all kill each other there...whatever race they may be..:)

WE will only be able to stop racism when we all stop seeing others as different,And stop all this hate.Some folks were raised to be racist.By parents or other people in their families.But it is now time for a change.All you have to do is remember Martin Luther King,I doubt if he would be proud of us the way we are so seperate and devided.What about Bobby Kennedy can you just imagine what he would say,These two men wanted unity so bad that they died for unity.That should mean something to us.Everything they tried so hard to acheave for us,Is being ignored by most.All of us have red blood,WE are born and die the same way.When WE can stop all this hate and forget what someone might have taught us about other races,That will be when WE can ALL come together and not look at each other as different,And remember WE were commanded to love one and another.If WE are to do what WE should,WE could turn it all around,"OUR COLORS ARE HUMAN."
