True, more money is earned as a television or movie star, but I don't think I would be able to handle the constant media attention. I mean, celebrities are being watched over by paparazzi like hawks spying on their prey. One bad move, and you could lose everything. It amazes me how they can handle all that attention.

they lean to handle it over time, why do you think the twilight stars are getting such bad rep they are new to the public eye. in all consiteration college is the best choice and that's what i am choosing but, anyway i would choose movie vs t.v.

Direct to DVD release, no plot lines, funky soundtrack from the 70's, the occassional boom mic creeping into the shot, yeah that's my choice.

It's just that I really don't like getting a lot of attention.
For instance, Britney Spears was driven to the brink of mental insanity courtesy of the paparazzi and public opinion. She shaved her head, attacked a car with an umbrella, and even was carried out of her house by an ambulance, and the media wouldn't stop talking about it, at her expense.
So no matter how lucrative the pay for being a celebrity is, I wouldn't want for complete strangers to air my dirty laundry out to the public.

Movies appear on T.V., so both! Haha!
But I wanna be in a band. I`m having my second thoughts cause of all the paparazzis digging all in your buisness 24/7. I don`t think I can deal with all the insanity cause I`ll end up jumping one of them and it`ll be all over the news that I beat up a paparazzi...*Awkward silence*

actually britney spears is just crazy in general. but the paparazzi can't write mean things if it doesn't bother you. just like mean girls at my school.all they want to do is A. make money (they make money by getting under your skin. and B. look at -()- for A.)

Oh, the "sticks and stones may break my bones" mentality. You may be unaffected by what other people think of you, but there are some people out there (ie. Britney Spears) who really want to lash out at these reporters and paparazzi. In Hollywood, where the ways celebrities are being watched are almost like Big Brother, there ARE selfish people who will only care about making a quick buck. I assume that a great deal of these celebrities hate being exploited so some jerk with a camera can make money. Ergo, I would not want to be a movie star or a TV star.
