Why take my comment off, you should have mentioned that the owner's son is a murderer!

Does that have anything to do with this, even assuming you are right?

I have mixed feelings. It was a weird place with bad lighting, but the kids always loved it.

I hated going to birthday parties there, but my kids had a couple of parties there themselves.

It was love-hate. I am looking forward to Whole Foods, but also think this area needs more recreation for children.

Maybe we'll squeeze in one last visit!

Lets not forget that at Sports Plus the games are about $3.00-$4.00 to play each,Come on!!!..What a rip off!!No wonder these kids rather go and spend the money on X-box, or psp's. 2 or 3 trips to Sports plus and they can buy there own entertainment and share with therre friends. What did u expect to happen? I say "Good buy Sports Plus" and Good Riddens!!

That place is DUMP! Its loud, disgusting, dirty, runned down and the teens run around like uncaged animals.

Something healthy like a gym and whole food market are just what that area needs! Not that we need more congestion in that area, but if they are going to build something else, let it be something for the betterment of health minded individuals.

Good bye dump!

I'm with you!! My kids are grown now but when they were small I used to dread taking them there for birthday parties, 2 days later, one of them would invariably come down with a stomach virus or flu. It was run down looking when it opened. I can only imagine what it looks like today!

Too bad we lose a large catering facility and large event venue. I guess everyone will now take a break from home gaming and hit LA Fitness for physical activity and Whole Foods are the way home to re-energize for more video games.

I do not agree with the real reason Sports Plus closed. The last time I was there, a lot of the games were either broken, not giving tickets or taking tokens without being able to play the game. Not to mention the crowds of people that just hung out there at night. Dave and Busters is 100% better. I think if they maintained and upgraded the facility and dealt with the crowds, it would have survived.
