Report on private server AlphaWoW - Good bad and the ugly

Let me warn you, private server AlphaWoW has a big problem with the GMs’, server up time, bugged quests’, they love censorship, banning people while they are at work, on vacation or offline. Banning players from the forum, or deleting posts on anyone that says anything the GMs’ disagree with on or about this topic as well as other topics. There is one particular GM that is the main person committing the majority of these actions that is know about at this point for sure, his name is Rourke, he will ban anyone for his own humor. The main GMs’ do not ask for screenshots or video of bans. If Rourke or any other GM chooses to ban you "no matter if your online or not" than are not asked for any proof of any kind at any time, and will refuse to provide such information.

There are confirmed reports of GM’s asking for photo id from people “personal information” players being banned for, talking too much in world chat, asking too many questions to the GMs', posting too much in the forum, posting too many times on a tread, GMs’ changing peoples password so they can not post in forums, editing “changing” the wording of or removing portions peoples posts in the forum. GMs’ not likening players’ names so they login with their own accounts and spawn camp until the player he or she leaves the game. Players being friends with GMs’ and asking GMs' to ban people because they win in Arenas too much or they dislike the player for some unknown reason, massive server crashes for hours, days, weeks and months for reasons that are unclear to the GM’s/admins’ or players, the above are just a few of the “confirmed” reports.

Most of these reports get deleted by the acting GM's before others can read the post in the forums, going so far as to ban players from forum access. No admin checks ban totals or reasons for bans at any point. If you do get “deleted” of banned for any reason that is inaccurate or false, do not bother trying to reach any admin for an appeal of any kind. From what has been seen you will received the reported treatment.

It is clear that Rourke is not acting alone, and it seems to be a trend on the server by the admins’ to ignore players, ban players all too often for speed hacking as well as not following their own server rules at will, depending upon if your a good friend of theirs. One thing that is clear, there is a serious break down of management on this private server. It seems to be run off faith based service techs and general managers that respect only the players that are slave based to them. If you do play on this server your player can be banned at any point for no reason or proof at all and you have no course of action to retrieve it, making all your work for nothing.

The sever does play well when it is up and running, but there is a huge amount of bugged quests and not all of the bosses are scripted, some of the bosses that are scripted have issues. Huge lag spikes, but friendly players on both side over all. But players must beware for this is a good example of why I would advise all players to just pay to play the game online. You “for the most part” do not have to deal with any of the above issues.
It is rare to find bugs’, or glitches in the game, and if you do it is not hard to find and admin for questions or for tech support. If you play on server such as AlpaWoW, you run the risk of being abused and accused.

I play on Inner-Realm and have the same problem, the GMs will do whatever they want and then act saintly if someone says otherwise. I got into a bit for trouble for /farting on someone. I mean it's a freaking macro for christ's sake! I didn't run around yelling racial slurs for crying outloud!

the same problem i have too the GM'S of alphawow persecute the ppl and they are laughing of the ppl and i have 1year and half here and all the instances are gugged and they dont do nothing for the ppl and for the server shame to all GM'S to no make somethig for the server and the ppl.i was in focus of the GM'S and i was escaped but very hard and they are racist with the ppl too i was feel it of my own char.thx and this is another re`porter of alphawow

this server is going down day by day always crashes and frezes and u cant do nothing shame to admins to no do nothing for the ppl and the server

all days at 7.00 am in the mornings the server go down and to the nights u cant play cause is lagging or freezing at least if u play arena never u can do good rating.the GM'S no work on server the only hunting the ppl for ban and persecute them they no work on server to do this better function its imposible to play now i play on this server more 2 years but now is orible b4 was good entertainement but now nothing im still here for my friends of this server and the guild if not i not continue more play here

shame shame and shame we cant play about 2 days is crashed the server and the GM'S not doing nothing for that is really embarasing to wait so much time and cant log on game.

Many people get their accounts wiped out for no reason. What a lame server

inclunding the arena points are not properly like other servers they no give the same points like arena calculator.shame of this lame server

Hmmm... yeah the server is fucked with the GM's but it doesnt D/C anymore 37 hours uptime. Its lags a bit but u wont find a private server withought lag entirely cna u? And Btw Rourke is a bitch i know he like to ban PPL for fun... but thats life just try not dealin with some noobish GMs like that if u dont wana a ban or something. Every Private server has problems it aint retail live with it!

I often wonder why some of the Alphawow players continue to come to our forums and IRC bothering our players to go to their server. Now I understand. "Misery loves company." It is true that all private servers have problems but you should not have to put up with problems other than those caused by software issues. I love the server I play in and many players come back even after playing on Official because they miss the server as did I. The uptime is great and the people who play there are like family. I play at Genesisrealm. Do a search for it if interested.

server reporter dude nothing you sayed is true about alphawow it is the best private server i have played on and i have played on a lot of them.

alphawow never banned anyone for no reason, if you or your friends are exploiters or bug-abusers you deserve anything incoming to you..(i've been playin there for 1/5 yrs, had no problems whatsoever)

the fact that they don't require screenshots or videos is because having two hosting servers, they take a log of everything..and i do mean everything...so they have all the proof they need, there's just no reason to start a flame war with all the qq-ers "gm uai delete hiro plox?...gief beck!!"--->useless

Well, Alphawow for ur information is the best private server atm, GM's that banned ppl for nothing are now history and u can play there without lagging and DC's.At the moment we are on WOTLK and all the instances work properly and everything is fine, u got a really nice comunity wich is helpfull.These posts what i saw are from Alphawow on hes first days now we are the best "the best" private server.
