Studies find benefits to video game play

What's NEW here...I moved to Baltimore about 15 yrs ago to help teach new (then) minimally invasive surgical techniques such as lap colon, lap hernia and lap nissen...this info was known back then.

The younger, more progressive, out of the box thinking surgeons ALWAYS adapted to this much quicker then their older, close-minded counterparts. Its well-known that most of the laparascopic MD guru's are the younger 40s and 50s surgeons...St Joseph Medical Center use to have MISTI - a minimally invasive training institute that was great - you could bring areas surgeons there for any kind of laparascopic training.

Sadly, it closed back in 2001-02 because new minimally invasive procedures relevant to its sponsor of the facilitiy (Ethicon Endo-Surgery)became stagnant and could no longer sustain its viability.

Who ever said video games were easy? I played World of Warcraft, I spent countless hours doing calculations and spreadsheets to see what would make it work right. Video Games are practically entertaining homework anymore.
