Wii SUCKS.......BAD

Never have I been more dissapointed in a game system in my life. I am 21 years old and have had all the game system since the nes....hell, i even had an atari. The Wii is a disgrace to gamers my age. I am ashamed I even bought this piece of crap. I have lost a lot of faith in nintendo over the years because they dont care about the gamers who have made them what they are today. The just try to appeal to little kids so they will be hooked to there name brand, like i once was, so they will continue to buy there jap shit.

i think "The DUDE" is right. PS3 and PS2 are much better than the wii in all of ways. PS3 can make more than the wii could ever. And the gaming is much better. you are better off getting a old Nintendo than getting a wii.

Wrong! The PS3 is way too big and too darn expensive, while the Wii is cheap and smaller and is way more "Revolutionary", too.

well jason does have a point,the controller for the ps3 is just the same as the ps2,all u do is push buttons,with the wii remote,u can acaully move around and stuff.

Oh yes, The Wii is one step closer to virtual reality, too! the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are just... too "unrevolutionary", ya know.

You all need to keep in mind. This is not a system that is for the SERIOUS gamers. Go buy a PS3 or 360 if you want those results. Yes this appeals to more of a "Family" type environment,and type of people. So just shut up and deal with it. Don't you have anything better to do with your time than complain online to all that really don't care about your feelings.

The Wii's just not what im looking for in a system. Id much rather have a 360 or PS3 than a Wii, manily because swinging my arms around like an idiot dosent apeal to me. Im not even that serious of a gamer, and Im still saving up for a PS3. I really dont see whyb you guys are all basicly saying, "oh, the Wiis the greatest thing around because it has motion sensors, therefore, everything else fails in comparison to the Wii" The Wii really isnt the first thing to come out where you move and the game moves with you know, and motion sensors does NOT make it advanced. Granted, I do intend on getting a Wii in the future, but all of you guys are REALLY tking it out of proportion.

And for the record,"motion sensors" and "Virtual reallity" are two completly diffrent things, so you shouldent get them confused

wii is cheap and awesome i have one and the 2nd best game of all time (according to www.gamerankings.com ) is Mario Galaxy for WII!

Look at it this way - the wii has at $250 the bigger bang for the buck.

I'm a nintendo guy though, so even if the Wii was 600 I would of gotten it, knowing what I know.(I am tech savy)

I could break down for you why 1080i is no different from progressive scan on the same resolution at 30 fps. In fact most tv's don't even show 1080p at 60fps yet.

Hey, for every 11 people who are core gamers 1 person always sais this about the Wii - in my experience 1 out of 2 of them are always fanboys for another system. But if your not then too bad, and stick around - good things are coming in 2008 aside from Brawl.

actually i disagree the wii is a perfectly good system, actually i think all 3 systems are good but in my opinion wii is better cuz its fun and wont turn a solid game in the end :)

The Wii is great system, the reason it's great because this is 2008 by 2012 I want to have to not use a controller to play my games. This system comes close to doing this. If we look at Nitendo back in it's early stages we see them being the leader in innovation with products like the Power Glove and the mat used for track and feild and also the 64 introducted us to a new 3-D environment and the fact that they did it in catrigage form was amazing. So we can expect more to come from the Wii.

I own both a Wii and a Ps3, I’ll admit I’m a Nintendo guy, when I personally think Nintendo I think quality, both in hardware durability and software. I remember tossing my SNES controller so many times in Street Fighter 2 (Sagat) and that one controller still works to this day.
When I think playstation I think games, I think about the options that I will have, the rpgs mainly.
However in my ideal world the Wii performs with much more quality in what I want to see; games.
For me I’ve played my Wii more often, except when I’m playing a engaging PS2 rpg on my PS3 or when I was playing CoD4. But CoD4 I kinda played it out, I can still go back to it and get laughs though, but I can’t play it for any more than 30 minutes.
Brawl is out now – theirs not much else to say. It’s the perfect game to me, nothing worries me about the Wii anymore, 2008 is going to be a fulfilling year.

Do what you want though, but know that some people like myself am totally complete with it, and that I myself am sorry you don’t enjoy it, would have been nice having another member in the online community. Personally I use my ps3 for it’s browser most of all, I’m usually on gamefaqs with it while playing something on the Wii.

The Wii sucks not only because of it's graphics but it can't be found any place. All of the original games are from old characters, and do not appeal at all nowadays to gamers who normally buy systems. And NO ONE is going to pay 500 dollars for a Wii unless you're hardcore, nor are they going to go to walmart at 4am. I think that's why you fan people aren't getting here. Realistically, it's all got to do with marketing and management and Wiis aren't being made fast enough, not because so many people are buy them but because of underproduction to try to make hype. The hype doesn't exist, I'm certain in the future you'll see it go down fairly quickly in popularity and this is just to start. I won't be happy until everyone in the world knows how selfish and inconsiderate nintendo is to treat it's fans like crap for the sake of making so much more money. By the time they get through they'll be finished. And BTW, 90% of the games for Wii are also unappealing and boring. Xbox is the same price and microsoft could easily make a port for that system destorying Wii in one blow.
