Buying PSP in singapore-need help

I would like to ask where should i get a sony psp in singapore at a cheap and reasonable price? usually how much is the "psp basic pack"-the one without any memory card? would like to know about the price before getting one in singapore to avoid being cheated. thanks thanks thanks

why don't you buy in malaysia.. malaysia is 2x cheaper then singapore.. normally we gonna use around 120+ SGD to buy a PSP from malaysia..

if you want to buy in singapore.. you gonna use over 200-300RM to buy a PSP

It cost RM750 in M'sia but its the cracked version meaning it could take cracked games. Anyone know how much the cracked PSP in Singapore cost?

I just got mine from Sony Style last weekend. SGD280. Coz i dont live in Singapore so i get bout 5.5 GST deduction. I was like all of u scouting lots of places to buy and searching at places like Sim Lim and Funan IT. But i am doubtful of these shops coz some of them dont even have signboard or registration. They may be selling slightly cheaper, but you dont know if they are still there when u need to get warranty or whether the parts are original. If you want to play mod games, just have it done at some game shops. They charged bout SGD10. It took less than 10 min. I recommend ppl to get from Sony. Got my 4 GB MS DUO PRO from Bugis junction sony stlye at SGD99. At least i feel assured that they are original.

NO!no!no! just had a very bad experience in one of the store there. the store name "Yeo Tat Trading Ent". Their Psp unit is Sgd290. and the 4GB mem stick is Sgd100. After I paid for the unit and mem stick they told me that its in japanese so they ask me if I would like to modify it in English. I said yes then after about 15 mins he comes back with the psp unit together with a receipt asking me to pay addl sgd400 for the modification. When i ask him why he did not mention to me before about the addl charge, his reply was "Because I did not ask!!". My God!!! Then he starts demanding me to pay the sgd400 for he said that he already paid the technician..Obviously the seller is acting in bad faith trying to fool us, buyers! this is to warn you. I've just found out that Toa Payoh Central and Bugis..you could get a psp with games..2 games if i'm not wrong..for about SGD269...in m'sia..it's definitely more expensive than singapore...even with promotion..it cost RM799...tat's about RM200-Rm250 more ex than if you buy in singapore..for m'sians...the prob will be your warranty..but i guess if u get it from sony shops..you do not reli have to worry..anyway...it's just a short drive even if u r from kl..hahaha..and yeah..most electronic stuffs in m'sia are second hand goods from singapore..tat's a fact..dun belif?look closely at your gadget..u will soon realise..=)

Thats a great Idea, but I have a few questions:

1. You said we can go to a Game shop to modify so we can play Mod game or Iso game! do they open up the PSP. how about the warranty from Sony style. It may not be valid anymore if it will be modified?
(I really dont know anything about PSP and how it is modified)

2. Where is the game shop that you got the sevice to modify. I'm planning to buy one and have it also modified.
