I have a small problem connecting to playstation network but my ps3 can brows the net but loging in playstation it dosnt work i cnt play online can pls tell me how to fix this? my NAT Type is 3 UPNP is availabel ip and all are ok.

I dont know why my Ps3 isnt hooking up to the internet. My IP adress is fine, but then the internet connection fails and it says that this is a DNS error. First of all, what is DNS and what can i do to make it work?

My IP address goes across with no bother but then when it goes to my internet connection it comes up at the bottom 'An error occurred during communication with the server. This is a DNS error'. Does anyone know what to do about this ? I have been online before on my playstation 3 but all of a sudden this begins to happen :(

i'm trying to get my 20 gig POS to hook up too. i get the DNS error. this is something that has helped me get my ip and dns #'s..
go to Start
go to Run
type cmd, hit enter
type ipconfig/all
good luck

I have connected my PS3 to my home wireless network. The internet is there but terribly slow. I have two computers connected to the sam network and the internet is fast enough, why not on the PS3. My internet connection is a 8meg speed connection, but my PS3 behave as on a dial-up connection. Can anybody help?
