We have a solid project in Northern California to install a 20 million gallon a year biodiesel facility. This project is already through the permitting process and was stopped due to lack of funding. The whole project including the land, installation of the processors based on state of the art waterless and multi feedstock technology, direct port and rail access and startup can be completed for $7.2 million. The facility has access to several sources of feedstock, and we intend to develop large jatropha holdings in order to provide for two other projects we are developing. I am Engineer José Osvaldo Director of Moza Bio Source Consultancy Limited, I am a product of Purdue University with Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics; I am an Ex-worker with the Ministry of Planning and Development (MPD) Mozambique. My research focuses on are based on economics of agricultural production of Bio-diesel and Bio-fuel agricultural policy analysis. I serve as a bridge between MPD and the Ministry of Agriculture (MinAg).

Large investments in Bio-fuel and Bio-diesel are currently in process in Mozambique. The Ministry of Agriculture has presently access line in providing Bio-diesel and Bio-fuel exports from Mozambique to different part at Euro mostly due to its demands from it ends.

Results suggest that Bio-fuel and Bio-diesel provide Mozambique with an opportunity to largely enhance economic growth and poverty reduction. The primary Bio-fuel and Bio-diesel situation modeled here results in increases in the average annual economic growth rate of 0.9% and reductions in poverty at present 2012, one of the most impressive thing information is that (MPD) Mozambique has a plan of processing over 5 million metric tons per annual of Crude Degummed Rapeseed Oil for Bio-diesel.

There has been a large demand for Bio-diesel lately due to it potentiality for industrial use; which is because of the high price of diesel, must industries are favorable in the purchase of Bio-diesel due to its low price of purchase which are mostly used for industrial usage, one of the superlative Bio-diesel oil is recognized as Crude Degummed Rapeseed Oil (DIN 51605) which is used for diesel engines has just been publish as an official DIN standard and also jatropha seeds which is processed into Biodisel.
