I so agree with Mr. Thornsberry! I am so afraid that the US will import another BSE case from Canada, and then our exports to other countries will be halted again after 5 long years of trying to get them back. I think Canada has a big problem with BSE, and we need to stop importing older cattle immediately! Please, all cattle producers, unite in stopping this careless attitude the USDA has adopted concerning your livelihood. Don't fall for their "sound science" arguement, because there is nothing sound about it. If this was a murder trial, the evidence would be overwhelmingly in favor of a conviction. Don't we as US citizens have a right to say how our government agencies conduct business?
