Sadly I rate this article very high. It plainly outlined the sad history that George W. Bush and his oil merry men have left our future generations.

In the aftermath of this debacle of waste, death and destruction the American public will long regret that they never had the courage and moral fortitude to impeach Bush and his entire crime family.

The Bush legacy will weaken this nation domestically and internationally for another generation to come.

Yo Sir Ignorance: You know as well as I do that if Bush/Cheney had been Democrats, they would have already been impeached, criminal charges filed, both convicted, and both already in prison. And I promise it would be YOU standing at the front of the line to condemn them to death for treason.

But you just can't handle the shite when it hits YOUR fan, can you? But what can you expect from someone of "below average" intelligence...WAY below!

This was very difficult for me to read. When you see the actual statistics covering George W.'s 7+ years in the White House, it is sickening! Thank you for pulling together this information.

Don't worry, with the election of Barack Obama the US is heading right back to the US of the late 19th century. Gonna be a long 4 years.

Unbelievably accurate account of the Bush Administration's lies...if only the average American citizen followed the Bush Administration's deceit as closely as the followed Britney Spears and American Idol we wouldn’t be in this situation. Wake up America…no more can we sit idly by and let the Republican machine drive us into ruination.

Outstanding commentary on a failed presidency and, internationally, a diplomatic disaster. It will take a generation to overcome this administration's damage to our Country's stature in the world and our influence in an increasingly global economy.

I never in my wildest dream, since I was a child would have ever imagine that the US will need to borrow from China.
Secondly, I would of never thought that the American people will be in this situation.
I guess I was wrong.
So sad that one person can bring down such a beautiful country.
A country where people, loved and respected one another before 9/11, a country where people could afford to live fine with a regular job.
What happen, please America take back your country.
Now the saddest part is, from an outsider as I am legal but not a citizen therefore cannot vote.
There are no leaders right now that I see fit to run this powerful nation.
Obama, is not a strong man he does not seem fit for the job.
Hillary, will not be respected by leaders in other nations where woman are seen as second class citizens.
And McCain, he just does not demostrate the leadership necessary for such a powerful position.
It is sad, lets hope that at the end, we do not get hurt more than we are. Let's hope that our kids will not have to emmigrate to other countries the way I emmigrated here seeking a better opportunity.
Let's hope that is all we can do.
Thank you
Gerry

I share the thoughts above.

>campaigned against nation building (Iraq)
>campaigned on cutting spending,(deficits and debt)
>Never talked to Bob Gates, James Baker, or his father about Iraq
>Neo-cons in the White House convinced Bush to attack Iraq
>Osama Bin Laden still not caught
>cost of war into the trillions
>never had enough soldiers
>Mexican border still open
>refuses to pardon the two border agents doing their job
>cheap labor for business
>said "Brownie your doing a heck of a job while people suffer
>Always said he did not know about something, while it is inconceivable that he didn't.(conference before Hurricane Katrina, Iran NIE report, etc.
>ignoring our infrastructure and spending billions in Iraq
>expands medicare
>wanted Social Security one way. No compromise
>Tom Delay closed the door to democrats
>Karl Rove closed the door to democrats
>Four amendments to the constitution at risk
>using signing statements on laws passed then interprets the law his way
>Uses his attorney general as his lawyer and not the lawyer for the constitution
>loses his own congress
>Harriet Myers debacle
>Scooter Libby and scandals
>ignorance, arrogance, incompetence
>Bush looks at things one way or no way
>deficits every year of his presidency in which Clinton had surpluses
>the dollar going down the tubes
>middle class jobs being lost, also pensions, and healthcare
>47 million without healthcare
>vetoes embryonic stem cell research funding two times on religious grounds
>the manipulation of power by Dick Cheney
>Putting religion in government
>introduces ethanol, which does not do anything to our energy problems.
>backed out of FutureGen project, after making promise
>missing e mails
>assigning functions to the Justice department, conflict of interest to protect
agencies to withhold information
>decline in medical research for five years

Can anyone tell me the mindset of George Bush with the following:

"Brownie your doing a heck of a job" while people were screaming
"Major combat operations are over in Iraq"
"I will not nation build"
"Osama Bin Laden wanted dead or alive" later "he doesn't matter anymore"
The constitution "just a goddamn piece of paper"
To Helen Thomas "What does Iraq have to do with 9/11? Nothing!
Nov 07 "I believe in a strong dollar" dollar goes lower
Mar 08 "I believe in a strong dollar" dollar goes lower more
For five years now "We are winning the war on terror"

It will take 60 years to take care of our wounded soldiers. Our infrastructure continues to be ignored. Yep, I would say more than a generation.
