Yes, that is sooo TRUE!!! If the Dems can't get their way, they will try to humiliate someone just to get their stupid side a shine-in. Why don't the Connecticut Dems GROW-UP??? Lieberman defeated your rich candidate in the election far and square. HE IS AN INDEPENDENT which means YOU DEMS didn't want him as a Democrat because he talks to BOTH SIDES of the political spectrum. He is an Independent and as such can talk to and visit anyone HE wishes. Maybe Sen Leahy should act more like an INDEPENDENT than a Democrat and thing might get done in CONGRESS. As a fact, the confidence level of the DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS as a whole is LESS THAN THAT OF THE PRESIDENT at 11% to Bush's 35%. Let the man do his elected duties of representing the CT taxpayers and maybe without partisan garbage since last November, something may actually get done right.

If Chuck Hagel speaks at the Democratic Convention, will there be any similar morons trying to get attention like this anti-Joe guy?

No, this behavior is very specific to the messed up people who are so "outraged" by Lieberman.

Lieberman is a great American. We need more politicians willing to make decisions based upon what is best for the country instead of always falling in line like a political hack.

Joe only represents himself. I'm glad he'll be rendered useless after the Dems take the majority in November.

Gimme a break. Lieberman is a slimy opportunist of the worst kind. He makes decisions based on his ego, not on principle. He's supporting McCain because he's still pissed that Democrats in CT didn't want him anymore. He's supporting McCain because his ego enjoys getting to bask in limelight as a "maverick". Everything he's ever stood for through his career is damaged by his opportunistic support for a Presidential candidate who is running on a platform that is antithetical to everything that Lieberman has worked for throughout his career.

Lieberman is not principled. He's petty. And piqued.

This all about stroking their egos and getting publicity.

This is yet another stupid publicity stunt.

Lieberman is a great American and US Senator.

These losers have too much time on their hands to be going to St Paul and being on the blogs.

And here I thought that the Left was saying dissent is patriotic.
Then when a Democrat shows support for the opposition they're labeled as rats!

You stay classy, Democrats. Oh, and dont' forget what happened the last time you tried getting rid of Joe!

I've always disliked Senator Joe's positions on morality, and liked his position on the WoT (in addition to taking down Weicker in the late 80's). As a human being he seems to have more decency than your average politician (just an impression).

I do wish, though, that he would've left the Democrats once they made it clear to him that they didn't want him. Kind of like the uninvited guest who shows up anyway.

But if he gets the GOP VP nomination, would he be the first person to lose VP for both major parties?(assuming he loses, which the polls currently indicate)

Why the cheesy street theater just because Mr. Lieberman takes positions that some Democrats don't agree with? I smell a rat!!! There isn't a more honest, polite, earnest politician around and anyone who doesn't respect him, even if they disagree with him, does not deserve any political forum.
I really wish I could vote for Joe Lieberman but I don't live in Connecticut. If we had 534 more Senators and Congressmen like him the country would be in great shape.

Lieberman has never done anything good for CT and has done lots of negative for the country.

I hate him.

These Liberals should talk they think they make the rules.

These self appointed dump joe.com vigliantes think they are judge and jury on who is a good Democrat and who isnt.

Dumpjoe.com has no credibility and their site is poorly organized and run by a bunch of publicity seeking amateurs.

Go to their site and see why you need to vote Republican in 2008.

In fact someone should register the name www.leibermanrat.com to collect donations for the biggest rat that can be manufactured for convention. Perhaps he will realize that he is similar to Castro who promised democracy for cuba, then when he was elected, suddenly advised everyone that they were in a comunist dictatorship!!!

Dear Pad
I'm glad you dont live in Connecticut and cant vote for Leiberman. You see the only cheese that smells here is the stink from people who don't realize Leiberman only turned Independent because he lost his democratic election due to his own Democrats not voting for him! All of the sudden he turns independent, only to fake himself as the deciding demoratic magority vote in the congress. Give me a break and get real!!!
