Customer Service with American Express does not exist, I tried getting the Gold Card for my husband and after three attempts I am mailing my Gold Card back. I was transferred six times and each time I had to provide personal information and each time I was transferred no another country and no one could help me. Finally they assured me that my husbands card was on the way (UPS over night) and when it didn't show up again, I gave them one last shot. The Third time I called they transferred me three times and I was on excessive hold. I decided to hang up and blog. What a joke, I am cutting up my card and mailing it back to Ken with my challenges to get a card in my husbands name.

I have had a corporate card for years and due to the need to submit expenses through work sometimes payments are late. Today I found out that I owed close to $400 in late fees when I thought I owed $46!! I have spoken to 3 different Am Ex reps in the past two weeks and got 4 different versions of what I owed in unpaid late fees. Not until I insisted on speaking with an AMERICAN Am Ex agent dd I find out what I still am not sure is the truthful amount. Each time I called (and I called 6 months ago) they only mention the current amount and miraculously fail to mention any past due. Needless to say I am livid that only the American Am Ex agent was willing to tell me I owed fees from last year! Unwittingly I have been wracking up continual late fees on late fees that they were not willing to share with me! What a stinking scam!!! Spread the word...buyer beware...cut up that card like I did!!!!

It's not Delta Skypoints, it's Delta Skymiles. Dickheads like you who don't even know the name of the card, don't deserve an American Express card
