Now that's a switch. Who are some others? Rick Steves, Willie Nelson, Woody Harrelson, Aaron Sorkin, Bill Gates, Steven Jobs, Jimmy Buffett, Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Montel Williams (medicinally for his MS),Steven King, & Arnold Schwarzenegger are who I could think of from just memory. I don't have time to research it, but I will bet the list is humongous.

it's not really a question of legalizing.

the US has a ban on hemp, which protects the interests of assorted industries.
until that ban is lifted, MJ will never truly be legalized, only decriminalized, with keeps it a "black market" product.

Brandson and Turner smoked pot and look at them now. Gates, Dell, and other tech moguls all dropped out of school. Why bother with school? Save them money and give high end dope and booze to the kids.

Think of all the taxpayer money saved by not having to pay for SWAT/DEA raids on folks with .3 grams of cannabis on them. You'll also save on the rehab bills since folks won't be given the choice of rehab or jail. Also we save money by not incarcerating these folks in the first place. It would also cut down on alcohol consumption so there is less rehab money needed for alcoholics as well.
