Actually, I'm offering myself up as bait to draw the attack-bots away from Palin's children. It's a simple strategy, but Democrats are simple organisms.

Forget about the kids, where was McCain's flag lapel pin? I haven't seen it in any photos of his speech. And for that matter did Palin wear one for her speech? W T Heck? What happened to their patriotism? Didn't they have any flag lapel pins for sale in the lobby?

Someone remind McCain to wear the pin. On his lapel this time. E Pluribus Unum!

Family should come first, then country. Putting it the other way around sounds scary.

Did not look anything like the real America I know. Also, McCain's speech. I can't wait for the debates. I feel your pain already.

Neither has a history of association with convicted felons, radical muslim sympathizers, and known terrorists.

I like McCain and believe he is sincere, even with Palin who is a typical politician. However, the issue is with the rest of his party. They don't seem to share his agenda and he can't accomplish it without them. Republicans have been responsible for two of the three last three tax increases in the past 30 years (one being the largest in history, expressed at a pervent of GDP), and budget-busting spending. I am having a big problem with their credibility since bigger government and increased taxes have become a hallmark of the Republicans post-Nixon. They have admirable tax and government goals, but haven't produced anything but words. I have yet to see why another chance should be given.
