Why weren't the Repubs so fiscally responsible when they were spending our money on war and tax cuts?

Thank God for Republicans. At least they aren't communists.

They were more fiscally responsible than OBama and the Democrats.
Also, how the hell can someone be unemployed for a year or more?
Doesn't it get kinda boring just sitting around on the porch bitchin about the government?

What part of the Republicans have no control of what passes and what doesn't pass do you not understand. The Democrats have complete control over the house and the senate. They can pass anything they want to pass without 1 single vote from the Republicans. They can't get bills passed their own party so they blame it on the Republicans.

You know, I agree. When I went unemployed, I gave myself with a time frame. I would not stay unemployed for more than a month. If longer than a month, I would go back a rejoin the Navy. Personal responsibility.

I hadn't noticed the communists with all the tea baggery going on.

The democrats are crying over their embarrassments in Virginia and New Jersey. What goes around comes around. Even if Corzine wins it's still a huge embarrassment for Obama after all the time he spent there, because it will be close. Voting for Obama's bills is a death nell for any political career. People hate Obama that much now that they have seen what he is. A communist.

How is it an embarrassment if the Democrat wins?
These races are no indicator for 2010.

I got layed off a few years ago. After cleaning out my desk, I spent about two hours sitting in the park thinking, and then spent every day from 7am - midnight either posting my resume on job websites or going to job interviews until I found another job six weeks later. I never neven applied for unemployment; I was too damn busy; the whole thing was just a blur. My family, friends, and neighbors never even knew I lost my job.
Were I to ever be unemployed for more than a couple of months, I would not pass up a job as a day laborer mowing grass or installing fence. Spending most of my time in an office, it would be kind of fun to get outside and live someone elses life for a few months, so long as I don't bump into someone I know.

Simple, to them..if the Democrat wins it has to be the result of ACORN tampering or some other shady shinanigans in the counting. Thus an embarrassment to President Obama.

If the Republican wins it's a signal of things to come in 2010 and 2012 (in their minds).
Either way they can 'win' the argument.
