Its not so cut and dry. Many Religions run Hospitals as Charities and provide low cost services for the poor who cannot pay. There is and should be a difference between a Non Profit and a for profit business. Even if the non profit has people who show up for a paycheck only.

Polygamy does scare me. Being bossed around by one woman is all I can handle.. The thought of being bossed around by four women is horrifying .

Freedom of religion my azz.
According to Mitch, Cantor and Boner it's about making President Obama a one term president. It's not about unemployment, healthcare, tax inequity, crime, or the collapse of the middle class. It's ALL about get a Democratic president out of the White House. That way they can return to the policies that caused the unemployment, That caused the banks to nearly go under. That caused the United States to spend a trillion dollars on the military.

A corporation is a corporation. Religious freedom is a right of PEOPLE not their corporate bosses....even if those corporate bosses head non-profit corporations and wear magnificent gold embroidered power robes and gold crowns!!

The OLD supposedly celibate bachelors and the Evangelical fundamentalist dictators, must believe that, without the force of law to restrain them, the Catholics employees at a hospital will run down and get prescriptions for birth control pills.

It should NEVER be management's right, even if the managers wear vestments and gold crowns and dump their scared sperm on their bedsheets, to impose their religions dogma on their employees.

the church isn't a corp and no one is telling their employees not to use BC. They are saying they are not going to pay for it.

This is about Fishlips McConnell lying out all of his bodily orifices as usual. He's a vicious, lying old hater, the worst thing in the Senate since the happy demise of Jesse Helms. he even LOOKS a little like evil old Jesse the Segregationist.

What a repulsive crew the Republicans are.

Let's take your total insanity at face value for just a moment:

While you don't know what a "communist" is - you literally do not - there are still many communists on the globe. Not really in the US anymore.

I did not realize there would be multiple Anti Christs. Can you tell me which of your insane, talibangelical preachers has maintained this as xstain fundie dogma - that there are millions of Anti Christs.

Because I thought that was a singular phenomenon, quite frankly. You outlier rube. snicker

There are many differences between for profits and these church run non profits which employ many secular people, many religious person who are not Catholic, and many Catholics who don't toe the RCC's absurd line on birth control.

But they are still both places of public accommodation. Non profits, in particular, receive all sorts of direct and indirect government money. We don't have to have our tax dollars funding "religious" dogma.

The churches themselves have a waiver from the requirement to include birth control in health insurance plans.

Hey ignorant filth, the churches are exempt.

We are not talking about the churches.

We are talking about church run, non profits like hospitals and universities, which are places of public accommodation and are not to use government monies to promote a particular "religious" dogma...namely that someone other than the woman in question should control her body, either directly, or indirectly by making it any more difficult to obtain covered birth control than it is to obtain covered flu shots.

that are owned by the church. And the church isn't promoting religious dogma by refusing to pay for BC. That is just a foolish lie from a little small minded, brainwashed liberal.

The RCC still is not happy with the offer of having someone other than the RCC pay for the birth control which will be covered by these non religious institutions'- universities and hospitals - health insurance policies.

So the RCC does wish to impose its dogma about birth control on all these secular, non Catholic and Catholic-birth-control using employees.

yes they still disagree because they will still be paying. So no they don't. They just are not going to pay for it. Little obammy will just get another court slap down like he just got when the court ruled just last month 9-0 that he can't tell the church who to hire.
