Why not promote Rushville as a quiet stress free town that is close to the interstates?
Rushville is 16 miles from the nearest interstate highway. 16 miles is NOT close. 2 miles is close, not 16 miles. Spiceland, Greensburg, and Shelbyville are close to an interstate highway. Not Rushville.
"Quiet stress free town" is code for Rushville being a dead little town where nothing happens.
If you enjoy watching paint dry, watching corn grow, and enjoy gossiping at the laundromat, then Rushville is the place for you!
People with boring lives gotta have someplace to live.

EXACTLY, so why don't you move closer to the interstate and away from this boring dead little town. What's stopping you? Get on with your exciting life because you will sure miss this dead little town one day and will return all the wiser.

People like Bypass play-up Rushville, they tend to exaggerate and make Rushville seem like something that it really isn't. Then if a person happens to be gullible enough to believe that B.S. and travels to Rushville to check it out, what a letdown!!!

"I've been hoodwinked! I've been duped! This place is nothing as it was described. What a trash heap! What a dump!" would be a typical response.

You know, when you set unrealistic expectations when describing Rushville, you're in for a big letdown from the people that are trusting you to tell the truth. Describing Rushville as something of a paradise just ruined your credibility.

What? In applying for unemployment and using food stamps? No, Rushville is the same tired old worn-out little town going on now for decades.
