ooooh hohoo noooo---not THIS girlie. They'll speak MY language or we won't be doing business. Simple as that.<quoted text>
I agree with you 100% but the unfortunate truth is ICE is overwhelmed and as with every government agency/entity - they are not as productive as they should be. I used to be a prosecutor and would have hundreds of illegals tromping through the court room up on misdemeanor and felony charges. I would contact ICE and inform them who they were and that most of them were stuck in jail. What did ICE do????? Nothing. Let's face it - the people in power (and that's not really our government officials - it's called capitalism and those that grease the wheels) want illegals here. I think we all need to re-enroll into SPN 101.

1 I'm not measuring Obama by words that aren't his, as much as I am questioning how he could sit and listen to that racist rubbish for 20 years and expose his innocent children to such hate. |

Well---now that I can't argue with. Although I don't agree 100% with everything I hear preached in my church's pulpit every week, I still wouldn't sit and listen to it if it were a recurring theme for 20 years. |
I did NOT say that I questioned your salvation. I said the unicorn is not biblical, meaning it is not an animal God made. When my daughter was little, she had a unicorn stuffed animal. We are Baptist & our pastor preached against unicorns for the reason I stated. It just seemed to me that the things you mentioned about yourself did not appear to be of God, in my opinion. I'm sorry you got so offended by my question. |

Yes I am a Christian but I will not tolerate name calling because I do start them, and since you resort to name calling and you cannot debate like an adult that you are not,Your the one that needs the Padded Room and you need to go home.. |
|
My main focus is to share the truth with people,I do not care if any person does not like my views etc, But I will say to you that you have a problem not being an adult and insulting people all the time..As for the borders I am for securing and treating Mexico Humanely like we treat Canada,As for the Bible I suggest that you read it and you may start loving your neighbor and not turn into the NUT CASE you are accussing me so get a clue yourself, And George Washington was for open Borders when he annexed Tennesse in 1796 and did not give a cent to the Indians, And as for La Raza I do not support them, but I doubt very much that you have to worry about one of La Raza members attacking you at night, and worry about the people who listen to RAP music that sing about KILLING COPS... |

You need to take another look at the Old Testament. The Unicorn in mentioned (though by another name that translates as unicorn) a couple of times, through the unicorn mentioned in the OT is not what later people envisioned. The unicorn of the OT was bull like with one horn. The unicorn depicted in Medieval folklore was not satanic either though it never existed. Unicorns are made up creatures like the leprechaun, they have never existed. They are fairy tales. Though I can see why one would think that because the Unicorn is almost always shown to have a goat like beard, cloven hooves and a lion like tail. But that doesn't make it so. Goats have beards and have cloven hooves, sheep, pigs, cattle, deer, etc. have cloven hooves as well. Just because Satan has been depicted over the centuries as a cloven hoofed creature (much like the depictions of the Greek god Pan) with goat like legs and horns doesn't mean that the devil himself looks like that. He doesn't. He actually looks like you and I (I have seen him in a dream and he tried to tempt me into believing that there is no heaven and there is no hell). The Unicorn was symbol of purity and truth and it graced numerous family crests. I grew up Pentecostal and my church elders accepted the fact that I am sensitive to certain things. I don't predict the future, though I do get some vivid and prophetic dreams, but so did some of the great men of the bible. Take Joseph for example. An angel came to him in a dream and told him the Mary was to conceive a child and they are to name him Jesus. That was from God. Ezekiel saw spirits and he also saw into the future. James who wrote Revelations saw into the future. Just because I have the ability to see, hear and smell things that most people can not doesn't mean that I am damned. Just because I use unicorn as part of my handle doesn't mean that I am evil or satanic. I have some wonderful gifts that are from God and I do not use things improperly. My abilities are used when they are needed. |

I forgot to mention one more thing. Not meaning to step on anyones toes here, but I had a Baptist minister tell me that Pentecostals were Satan worshipers because we speak in tongues and believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit. That minster told me that speaking in tongues was not biblical either. However, how can it NOT be biblical when Paul writes about it in the book of Acts? Paul also urges us to participate and be baptized in the spirit as well as in water, though it is not mandatory. And by being baptized in the spirit, and receiving the gifts (not all of them) from the Holy Spirit if the Holy Spirit bestows them on you. Not all who are baptized in the Spirit receive any gift. |

I belief all believers have a gift bestowed on them---not all will seek it, use it or cultivate it. I won't comment on the issue of tongues because I don't believe as you do about it and this really isn't the board for for a full blown discussion of it.:0) |

OBAMA IS NOT ONLY FOR LATE TERM ABORTIONS, BUT AGAINST SAVING THE LIVES OF BABIES WHO SURVIVE LATE TERM ABORTIONS: Sen. Barack Obama (D.-Ill.) portrays himself as a thoughtful Democrat who carefully considers both sides of controversial issues, but his radical stance on abortion puts him further left on that issue than even NARAL Pro-Choice America.
In 2002, as an Illinois legislator, Obama voted against the Induced Infant Liability Act, which would have protected babies who survived late-term abortions. That same year a similar federal law, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, was signed by President Bush. Only 15 members of the U.S. House opposed it, and it passed the Senate unanimously on a voice vote. Both the Illinois and the federal bill sought equal treatment for babies who survived premature inducement for the purpose of abortion and wanted babies who were born prematurely and given live-saving medical attention. When the federal bill was being debated, NARAL Pro-Choice America released a statement that said,“Consistent with our position last year, NARAL does not oppose passage of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act ... floor debate served to clarify the bill’s intent and assure us that it is not targeted at Roe v. Wade or a woman’s right to choose.” But Obama voted against this bill in the Illinois senate and killed it in committee. Twice, the Induced Infant Liability Act came up in the Judiciary Committee on which he served. At its first reading he voted “present.” At the second he voted “no.” The bill was then referred to the senate’s Health and Human Services Committee, which Obama chaired after the Illinois Senate went Democratic in 2003. As chairman, he never called the bill up for a vote. Jill Stanek, a registered delivery-ward nurse who was the prime mover behind the legislation after she witnessed aborted babies’ being born alive and left to die, testified twice before Obama in support of the Induced Infant Liability Act bills. She also testified before the U.S. Congress in support of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. Stanek told me her testimony “did not faze” Obama. In the second hearing, Stanek said,“I brought pictures in and presented them to the committee of very premature babies from my neonatal resuscitation book from the American Pediatric Association, trying to show them unwanted babies were being cast aside. Babies the same age were being treated if they were wanted!” “And those pictures didn’t faze him [Obama] at all,” she said. http://tinyurl.com/4knpm4 This is the Bill where Obama was the only dissenting voice. http://tinyurl.com/5gxs9q See also,“The Audacity of Death”(Wall Street Journal): http://tinyurl.com/6zebwh |

I agree with you and I also do not want a full blown discussion either. |

A Unicorn is a horse, and there is no Unicorn or Horse in the Old Testament that I can find,Unless scriptures are given to this board and then I will stand corrected, As far as Satan,he has been described spiritually in the Bible in Rev12V3 as A Fiery Red Dragon, But the only scripture I can find that point to a physical appearance is in Genesis 3V1-5 as a Serpent, But Satan(Dragon) servant the Beast(his spiritual and physical appearance is described in Rev13V1-7 And Satan other main servant The False Profit spiritual and physical appearance is described in Rev 13V11-18

Yes, the Unicorn of folklore is a horse. But I do seem to remember a mention of a one horned cow like animal in the OT. I am not sure where exactly it was, but I am thinking it was in Gen. before the story of Noah, but I could be wrong. I do know that it was not called a 'unicorn'. I will have to look as it has been more than 20 years since I have seen it. As for the physical apperence of the Devil, everyone has their own opinion and the image I saw of the Devil was a dark complected man with black hair. I did not see his face only the side and the back of his head and body. He stood about 6'2 and was of slender build. The dream I had, the Devil took me by the wrist and he led me down a dungeon like corridor and at the end of that corridor there was a light bulb hung from the ceiling on a rope and under that dim light was a coffin. When we reached the end of the coffin, the Devil reach for the lid of it and started to open it. I asked what he was doing and he said that my brother was in there. I told him that he was not and that my brother was in heaven. The devil said 'No, he is in here. This is what happens when you die, there is no heaven and there is no hell. Once you die, that is it." I told him that my brother's earthly body maybe in there but his soul is with God. The Devil again told me that that was a lie. I told him that he was a lair and I wrestled from his grip and I woke up. My mother had a similar dream when her mother died, but in hers, the Devil told her that if she would follow him, he could give her her mother back. My mom said she say her mother sit up in her coffin and held open her arms for my mother. My mother refused and woke up. My mother saw the same physical appearance that I did. |

1 " Now, in terms of knowing my commitments, you don’t have to just look at my words, you can look at my deeds. Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is MY committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don’t obtain a nuclear weapon." ******Obama is not a member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee. Obama just made that up so he could count the committee’s action as one of “my deeds.” http://www.youtube.com/watch... |
