let's see, Obama graduated from Harvard with a magna cum laude [that is, "with high honors"], mccain graduated from the naval academy 894th out of a class of 899 [and i'm sure if his daddy wasn't a 4 star admiral mccain would have washed out] so you say the guy that graduated with honors is stupid? you just made it clear that anything you say is going to be wrong... . La Bamba wrote: McCain, if elected Prez, will need someone to guide him. Hope he is not arrogant like Bush and will ignore good advice. McPrez is not at all a good choice. But the abssolute WORST choice would be OBumba. He ain't got a lick of sense. He is just plain stupid.

If he's so smart, why hasn't he done anything worth noting? The man has no record, and hasn't done anything remarkable in the state senate. If he's so smart, why did he go to a racist church for 20 years and not know it was racist? If he's so smart, why was he friends with Rezko a convicted felon? If he's so smart, why was he friends with a domestic terrorist who bombed the pentagon? If he's so smart, why did he write 2 books in which he admits to being a racist? If he's so smart, why was he against the surge? If he's so smart, why does he think that all he has to do is talk with Iran and they will stop supporting terrorism and building a nuclear weapon? He's not smart. He's a egotistical racist who is unfit to be senator let alone POTUS

And yes not all people sign up for the extra benefits some sign up because they have dreamed of being a Marine all their lives before they knew anything about benefits. It is not as if he said no college and no medical just not some over the top amount. It is the first thing they teach you in boot camp if you signed up for the money, college,or to see the world you are a fool. And if you continue to function like some trained dawg when you get out - they failed in their training. By the way these aren't extra benefits I am talking about - they are earned benefits. Read the next post after you message to me - pretty well says it. How any vet can vote for McCain is beyond me. Guess I sum it up by saying - I truly question your judgement not your service.

you are substituting urban myths, gross distortions and outright lies for facts. you saying mcain getting the 'surge' facts wrong and then lying about it equates to obama misstating the number of states.[fyi, go watch the video of the "50........7 states" statement made. note the gap? the man was tired... if you do a little research there were 57 democratic primaries and caucuses that he took part in... as a senator obama has sponsored 118 bills and co-sponsored 619 bills in three years. yeap, no record here. fyi, few pol's do anything 'remarkable', unless you want to count the remarkable feat being 894 out of a class of 899 by mccain... just how dumb is he? . oriana wrote: <quoted text> then why doesn't he know how many states there are and where they're located? if he's so smart, why does he have to lie and flip flop in order to get elected? McCain is out of his prime, plain and simple, he si a terrible candidate plain and simple. He is out of touch with reality, and his only claim to fame is being a POW, which has no weight on a presidential resume. Now you may say "what about Obama" whether you think Obama is good or bad is does not change the fact the McCain is a terrible candidate. I respect the man, but he is way over the hill, and seems like he really is clueless.

McCain says something wrong one time and everybody jumps on the bandwagon to bash him, but obama continually contradicts himself and it is said he 'misspoke'????????? At least McCain stands for America, BO stands for anything he thinks at the moment will get him elected. The media follows him around like a little puppy....that should tell you this is NOT the man for president, they are all a bunch of liberal nuts.

Joe wrote: Is that like when Obama "mis spoke" and said the US has 57 "states"? Screw you liberals. Obama's a jerk. Then Obama says he wouldn't vote for the surge, and in fact doesn't even give the surge credit on Nightline, he says the tribes did it all. What a retard. And Mark from Rochester you're an idiot. We still have troops in Germany from WWII, but are we at war there fool? That's all McCain is talking about. And your boy genius Obama wants to run off and put a bunch more troops in Afghanistan. So will that bother you? You probably think we should disband the military altogether. We all know it wasn't the surge exactle that worked, it was the exchange of money and other services that put a temporary halt to the civil war. This war was botched and should have never been fought. The leaders in Iraq and Barack are on the same page. McCain and Bush previously stated when the Iraqis step up we will step down. It's time for our troops to come home and let them clean their own house. Get the h#ll out of their country and use our billions of dollars in our own country to help our citizens and our economy.

McCain was right on the surge. If we would have listened to Obama millions of Iraqis would be dead, the US would have lost the war and Iran would be in control of Iraq. It's a well known fact that obama did not sponser bills, his name was put on them so he could run for US senate. Obama vote "present" more times than he voted yea or nay while in the state senate. and then there's this... Obama said this in Israel. "Now, in terms of knowing my commitments, you don't have to just look at my words, you can look at my deeds. Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don't obtain a nuclear weapon." Obama is not a member of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee. http://banking.senate.gov/public/index.cfm... He Lied. or will you say he's tired here too? Even a Senator as inattentive to his duties as Obama certainly knows what committees he serves on.

This is not the only time McCain has said something wrong, remember the confusions of the Sunnis and shiite militia (in which Lieberman corrested him), bomb-bomb Iran "joke", the Janet Reno is Chelsea Clinton's father "joke", the sell the Iranians cigarettes to kill them "joke". Any second grader knows that there are 50 states, this is a simple slip of the tongue. The average American does not know about the different ethnic groups of Iraq, and apparently neither does McCain.

Well, don't know if Mr. Clueless or Ms. Katie actually needed another bad hit in the personality department. They need to get rid of Ms. News (as we call it), and America needs to put Mr. Clueless out to pasture on his own stud farm to further family values (he ain't no maverick anymore).

Actually it isn't desecration to display the flag in the distress mode - it's a cry for help - but you knew that already didn't you? Need to beef up on your flag history if you didn't know that. Kinda something every American would understand as it were.
