The most glaring absurdity about the so-called progressive concern for the "middle income group", or middle class is the actual disdain with which progressives hold the middle class. In their literature, their poems, their political and economic concepts as expressed historically and currently, progressives think the middle class are nothing more than stupid proletariat. Actually, it was Bush who ran us over with a bus and then it was Republicans who refused to work with Obama to help put the country back on track.

Fanie & Freddie were used to 'sop up' the questionable paper in order to try and keep the whole mess afloat; but the priary cause of the CREDIT CRUNCH was the unregulated "mortgage brokers," and not the regulated banks.
