<quoted text>Hey stupid!! They did not break his arms, reread you post if thats possible or have someone read it for you! I was responding to your lies in the post where you stated -"thats why he can't lift either arm"- I made the comment the arms were not broken through torture, but was the result in the plane crash, and no medical follow up.
Now moron, before you go into one of your raging name calling rants at least have the "back up" in facts not your "torture them all mentality!
Tell me numb-scull, what does "re-fractured" mean? That's what McCain wrote. What more "back up" do you need?
The discussion was about torture, are you denying he was tortured to the point of confession? Do you consider withholding medical care torture?

They are beheading AMERICANS because we are torturing Muslims. How many Americans were beheading by Muslims before 2002?
WHat information did we receive by stripping the detainees and making them pose in pyramids? Also name one piece of valid information we received from waterboarding? If you can't name one, you need to stop talking about "saving American lives" because you have nothing to back up your statement.

Many of those things plus the waterboarding happened at Gitmo
Credible link?

When the 9-11 families met with Odumba after he decided not to prosecute the USS Cole bomber...a family member asked him why he is closing Gitmo since there was no torture done there. He said, many people were confused about the torture that was at Abu Ghraib with Gitmo so it would be easier to just close it down. She asked him to leave it open, she said he just shrugged as if to say he already made up his mind to shut it down.

I'll try to find the link you can listen for yourself.

We all know about attacks like Buckley, 1972 Munich attacks, TWA highjacking, Sadat and some others but what about all the rest.
Sirhan Sirhan was a Christian so the list starts with bullshit argument and how about the” Dec. 14 - Passenger train hijacked and passengers were kept hostage, 3 were” please provide a source with more information. Maybe like where it happened and who did it. Also the “Swiss airliner blown up over Switzerland, killing all 47 people on board”. I cannot find anything on that….I did find the Dawson field attacks but it had different dates and the empty planes were blown up on the ground, so I’m confused. When I goggle a few of the lesser known attacks all I get is 25 websites with his stupid list. Also, while you’re looking for the Swiss Air and the passenger train maybe you should also include some of the non-Islamic attacks during that time frame like the genocide by Pol Pot (who was supported by both Carter & Reagan) or groups like the Red Brigades and the Baader-Meinhof Gang who were responsible for bombings, kidnappings, and murders, the IRA, Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, National Liberation Army-Columbia and the Japanese terrorist group Aum Shinrikyo.

I'm not supporting terrorists. They are evil killers and should be dealt with accordingly. However, they are usually killing Americans for revenge for something we've done first. That doesn't make them right but maybe we also need to look at the actions of government or a few bad apples in the military before we go around saying they're beheading Americans for no reason or because Islam and Allah told them to kill AMericans. It's simply not true!

Thanks :)

I know what Cricket is and I've seen a lot of his posts. He's real active on the illegal immigration forums. There's a pattern with the haters. They hate and distrust anybody who’s different. If they see a poor Hispanics they assume he’s illegal. It they see a legal Muslim, they have to be a terrorist. They have no problem with killing innocent women and children from the Middle East, Asia or any other place they want to invade and then have the nerve to call them animals when they fight back and kill Americans.

They are also hypocrites….they yell pro-life and then kill or bomb abortion doctors and clinics. The yell legal immigration only but hate ALL the legal Muslims in this country, they yell Obama is putting us in debt when they didn't care about the billions and billions Bush was spending., they yell Jamie Lynn Spears is a tramp and her parents are rotten because she was pregnant at 17 but give Bristol and Sarah Palin a pass. At least Jamie Spears had a really good job and could support her baby. The list just on and on…….

You can stop the drama now. When have we ever received vital information from torture, that has saved thousands or millions of Americans? Please don't give me the classified crap, because if they had saved millions of Americans, we would have heard about it.
You can stop playing elementary school child and grow up and face reality.

When?

How about a few years ago, when one of the terrorists succomb to 4 secs of waterboarding and told them about the attack on Los Angeles.

Was Los Angeles attacked?

CNN
May 30, 2005 Justice Department memo that the use of “enhanced techniques” of interrogation on al Qaeda leader Khalid Sheik Mohammed (KSM)-- including the use of waterboarding -- caused KSM to reveal information that allowed the U.S. government to thwart a planned attack on Los Angeles.

Before he was waterboarded, when KSM was asked about planned attacks on the United States, he ominously told his CIA interrogators,“Soon, you will know.”

According to the previously classified May 30, 2005 Justice Department memo that was released by President Barack Obama last week, the thwarted attack -- which KSM called the “Second Wave”-- planned “‘to use East Asian operatives to crash a hijacked airliner into’ a building in Los Angeles.”

KSM was the mastermind of the first “hijacked-airliner” attacks on the United States, which struck the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Northern Virginia on Sept. 11, 2001.

After KSM was captured by the United States, he was not initially cooperative with CIA interrogators. Nor was another top al Qaeda leader named Zubaydah. KSM, Zubaydah, and a third terrorist named Nashiri were the only three persons ever subjected to waterboarding by the CIA.(Additional terrorist detainees were subjected to other “enhanced techniques” that included slapping, sleep deprivation, dietary limitations, and temporary confinement to small spaces -- but not to water-boarding.)

This was because the CIA imposed very tight restrictions on the use of waterboarding.“The ‘waterboard,’ which is the most intense of the CIA interrogation techniques, is subject to additional limits,” explained the May 30, 2005 Justice Department memo.“It may be used on a High Value Detainee only if the CIA has ‘credible intelligence that a terrorist attack is imminent’; ‘substantial and credible indicators that the subject has actionable intelligence that can prevent, disrupt or deny this attack’; and ‘[o]ther interrogation methods have failed to elicit this information within the perceived time limit for preventing the attack.’”

So, by Obama's own words, the reason Los Angeles was spared is because we lost our "moral bearings."

Today's news:

Democratic Rep. Reid stated they will vote against giving money to Obama to release the prisoners from Guantanamo Bay because Obama does not have a plan credit worthy.

Even some of Obama's party is seeing the light.

Books in my personal library:
Girocho: A GI's Story of Bataan and Beyond, by Poncio
Through the Valley of the Kwaii, by Gordon
Captives of Empire, by Leck
Alive Another Day, by Capelli

It will be nice when *everything* is on the Net, one day.
Since the U.S. was rebuilding Germany and Japan into "allies" in the 40's and 50's, a lot of the uglier aspects of the war were swept under the rug, although I don't know as much about the German side of things... They punished the people they could find, then tried to start over with a clean slate. Probably a good idea.

Really? It's you who needs to grow up and face reality.

The story is bogus and anybody with half a brain knows that by now.

FACT: The Los Angeles attacks were stopped in February 2002.

"The U.S. government, aided by foreign allies, thwarted an al-Qaida plot to fly a commercial jetliner into the highest skyscraper on the U.S. West Coast in late 2001 or early 2002, a senior administration official said February 9."

Khalid Sheikh Mohammad was evern captured until MARCH 2003.

"Sheikh Mohammed's arrest in Rawalpindi, Pakistan on March 1, 2003 marks one of the most important breakthroughs in the fight against al-Qaeda. The two key factors leading to his arrest was a bribe to an Al-Qaeda operative in the amount of $27 million, as well as information gained from the NSA electronic surveillance network Echelon."

The USS Cole was attacked in October 2000 when Clinton was on his way out. George Bush won the election less than a month later so why didn't Bush do something about it in January.

"Both the Clinton Administration and the Bush Administration have been criticized for failing to respond militarily to the attack on the USS Cole before 11 September 2001. The 9-11 Commission Report cites one source who said in February 2001, "[bin Laden] complained frequently that the United States had not yet attacked [in response to the Cole]... Bin Laden wanted the United States to attack, and if it did not he would launch something bigger.Evidence of al-Qaeda's involvement was inconclusive for months after the attack. The staff of the 9/11 Commission found that al-Qaeda's direction of the bombing was under investigation but "increasingly clear" on 11 November 2000. It was an "unproven assumption" in late November. By 21 December the CIA had made a "preliminary judgment" that "al Qaeda appeared to have supported the attack,"
