Did any of the speakers let the cat out of the bag that those in attendance who enjoy Medicare will have their out of pocket expenses increase up to $6,000 with the voucher system under the Ryan budget that Mitt wants to adopt? Were they told that Social Security benefits are subject to freeze, or be reduced? Did anyone mention that the contraceptive package that just went into effect for females would be eliminated in January 2013?(Viagra will still be available for males.)

Was the speaker honest when she talked about women loosing jobs in the hangover from the George Bush finance fiasco? The fact that those jobs were PUBLIC SECTOR JOBS; TEACHERS, PUBLIC HEALTH NURSES, STATE AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SECRETARIES AND CLERKS? The same jobs that the Repuglicans in Congress refused to vote to save?

Was the fact that Romney has vowed to close Planned Parenthood offices across the nation, and end low income healthcare cancer screening for women talked about?

Just asking? Are these Repuglican Women passing along the same lies that the Repuglican Party Savior is espousing?

Seriously. For a major Political party in this Great Country, is Eric Cantor, Robert Hurt, George Allen and Mitt Romney the Best and Brightest you have to offer? Really? You guys are kidding, right?

MALE OLIGARCHS,'PASTORS', and 'POPES', of WOMAN-OPPRESSING, WIFE-BEATING CHRISTIAN or other denominations will certainly fare well under a Romney Administration, since there will be no access for health care for these women (and their children), shelters or independent housing for these women (and their children), mental health services for these women (and their children), or legal recourse for these women (and their children)... when they seek to escape from emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, and neglect of their children. THE CHRISTIAN TALIBAN will then be in good position to authorize what they claim to want or secret long for: to RESTRAIN AND BEAT DISOBEDIENT WOMEN AND CHILDREN; to STONE ADULTEROUS WOMEN OR WOMEN WHO FAIL TO PERFORM SEXUAL TRICKS FOR THEIR HUSBAND(S - plural, since some of the Christian Taliban will restore patriarchal polygamy! including also child marriage - just wait and see!) ; to RE-ENFORCE COLOR CODES (again, since they only recently gave them up, or pretended to give them up); to herd gays and lesbians into ghettos to die; etc. The Christian Taliban is ready to go! AND, they have lotsa lotsa lotas guns!

No, I think they will talk about how birth control is the responsibility of the individual and not the federal government. Or perhaps, they will discuss the negative ramifications of DumBama stealing a half-trillion from Medicare for the creation of Commie Care and somebody or somethings will have to be cut.

They may bring up the fact that Social Security is now paying out more than it brings in, and we are looking at the end of another broken federal government program unless somebody does something about it.

I don't think they can talk about Romney closing down Planned Parenthood because the federal government does not have that right. All they could really do is withdraw our tax dollars from the organization. They sure won't talk about the FACT out of our population of 315 million people, 111 million are now on some welfare program (does not include SS or Medicare). Republicans are smart enough to realize the plot behind creating more government dependents: the more government dependents, the more likely Democrat voters. Those votes will come at the expense of our grandchildren if our country survives that long for us to have them.

Two facts to keep in mind. First, women make up the bulk of undecided voters. Second, Obama is winning white women with four-year college degrees, who are a crucial bloc in swing states like Virginia, Florida, and Colorado. To win this election, Romney needs to run up the score among white voters—i.e., he has to win white women by a larger margin than previous Republicans. To do this, he needs to downplay the extent to which he’s opposed to expanding access to reproductive health care, including contraception.
(He also needs to downplay his characteristic hypocrisy—as governor of Massachusetts, he supported similar policies, and Romneycare subsidized birth control for low-income families.)
Women independents are already hostile to the GOP—in a survey released this summer, Emily’s List found that they scored Republicans low on “respecting women,” and remember the GOP’s attempt to defund Planned Parenthood.“The independent women we spoke to saw it as a priorities problem,” says Jess McIntosh, deputy communications director for the group,“Republicans are more focused on birth control and social issues than they are on creating jobs.”

I know that my husband and I used birth control ( which we paid for) to limit our family size so that I could have a good job and WE could provide a higher standard of living. AT THE SAME TIME< health insurance was covering VIAGRA WTH???????? Dont want to support the idea that limiting family size lead s to some economic advance WHILE my insurance company paid for VIAGRA for some old geezer to have a good time ( Limbaugh-whose the slut now?) and used my premium dollars for that.
Another question, what if your children lose their jobs and jobs are hard to come by; and your grandchildren are faced with food scarcity ( i.e. They are HUNGRY), shouldnt we as a culture ensure that our children have a full stomach at night?
OH BTW
Release your tax returns MITTENS---- you may have paid sales taxes, property taxes, RE taxes, but I bet you paid no FEDERAL taxes just like a segment of the population that you vilify.

Regurgitating lies told by Newt Ginrich, Rick Santorum, Mitt Romney, etc don't make them true. President Obama and Democrats are not plotting to get more people on assistance. Newt spend several minutes dancing around the issue during an iterview with CNN. He finally had to cave in that there was no proof, only his wild belief. The fact is that actually there is less families and money spend on welfare now then in 1996. The facts can be seen here:
http://money.cnn.com//2012/08/09/news/economy...
Do you think that the increase need for assistance has anything to do with the amount of jobs lost at the end of Bush's term and the beginning of Obama's and the recession? If anyone believed that Obama would come into office and hiring would explode, is beyond reality. And if you serious believe that if Romney wins that companies will start hiring left and right is wrong. Until the demand increases, companies will still have no need to hire.

If Romney gets the Presidency and comes into office and starts cutting spending, what do you think will happen to the economy? It will crash again. Especially to cut off alot of middle class families life support right now that still can't find employment.

So you believe all of the Republican lies? The Republican party is all about supporting corporate control of the country. Read your history from 1890s+. We are repeating history with a small percentage of the population controlling most of the money and the rest of us suffer through it.

The Republican party only pretends to care about the average American citizen.

If your health insurance is covering viagra and not contraception, then that's an issue between you and your insurance company, not with government and your insurance company. Government has no business whatsoever in forcing your insurance company to pay for whatever be it contraception or viagra.

Secondly, erectile disfunction IS a medical condition. Preventing pregnancy is not. Pregnancy is quite normal actually in spite of what Democrats try to teach you.

We have more than ample resources for your grandchildren. The problem is (like any social program) that people who are not going to bed hungry take advantage of them. In our country, one out of every seven Americans are being fed by the federal government. You don't think that's a problem? Did you ever take note at the weight of people using food stamps at your grocery store? I have. And today we learned that 111 million people are living on some welfare program in our country. It's absolutely unsustainable. DumBama and the Democrats have set us on the road to Greece.

This is the exact same tired argument that took place during Welfare Reform. Liberals told us it would lead to more crime, more starving children, more desperation. After Welfare Reform took effect, it cut down the welfare rolls by half. Government dependents felt liberated for once in their lives. They gained employment, reduced their family size, and abled them to advance themselves in life.

While DumBama is running around the country lying about how many jobs were created during his first term. studies still show that we have less people working now than when he took office. He has had four years to at least bring us back to the point when he took office, but he failed. Unemployment is higher than when he took office, poverty increased since he took office, and government dependency is at a historic high. DumBama is a total failure.

To refute your studies, I have one of my own. One that clearly shows that one third of our nation is now on some sort of welfare program. Can you tell me anytime in our history when 1/3 of our population was dependent on welfare? Mind you, this study does not include SS or Medicare people.

You want taxpayers out of your vagina and out of your bedroom and your sex life, but you then want the taxpayers to pay for your birth control so you can have an unrestricted sex life, or your abortion if you forget to take your free birth control pills (you can't be expected to remember a pill when in the throes of lust)--so which is it???? You can't have it both ways. Either you want total control over your sex life and the responsibilities that come with the choices you make (reproduction, STDs) or if you want government/taxpayers to pay for your choices, thus have some say in what we pay for.

What the Republican party believes in is treating all people equal: rich vs poor, majority vs minority, smokers vs non-smokers, males vs females. It's the Democrats who separate us into little groups, and then decides who gets more than the others.

In our system of society, every single American has the option to earn as much as they desire. We do not have a finite amount of money where if a wealthy person has to much, others have less. It's a liberal myth.

If the liberal myth were true, then I would be refused a raise by my employer with the explanation that he has no more funds because the wealthy have too much. I would not be able to get a part-time job because wealthy people have so much more.

If you need more money than you currently have, then the solution is not to tax the wealthy more. The solution is to work more hours, stay out of debt, invest residual income, get training for a trade, open up your own business, get an advanced education, get a second job.

What liberals fail to acknowledge is that taxing the people on the top is only a tax on ourselves. It just makes liberals feel good to do so. Dumbama forced cell phone companies to provide free phones and services to the needy. Who pays for that? We paying customers pay for it. Same goes with our utilities. When government forces utility companies to provide services for the needy, who pays for that? People who pay their bills. When the federal government forces credit card companies to stop late fees to irresponsible borrowers, who pays for that? Responsible borrowers.

The bottom line is there is no tax on the wealthy, because the wealthy just pass on their losses to working responsible people. That's the truth.

I am an old fart now but I remember my wife taking birth control pills. This wasn't done in "throes of lust", but on a regular once a day schedule like your blood pressure pills. You may now go back to listing to Rush.

Historically we are a pretty low level across the board.

Corporatocracy
"Corporate oligarchy (Corporatocracy) is a form of power, governmental or operational, where such power effectively rests with a small, elite group of inside individuals, sometimes from a small group of educational institutions, or influential economic entities or devices, such as banks, commercial entities, lobbyists that act in complicity with, or at the whim of the oligarchy, often with little or no regard for constitutionally protected prerogative."

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Libra

Look after yourself today, dear Libra, because you don't have as much energy and self-confidence as usual. In fact, your spirits may be trailing around your ankles, making you feel wretched and listless. A pessimistic mood certainly won't help you cheer up, and you may be feeling overwhelmed by responsibilities or other people's problems. The fact is that you've got things out of proportion, but you'll feel better about them soon.
