These are a bunch of very stubborn and untrusting people. They have a long history of distrust and Hamas just adds to the problem. When areas are in danger, please move your kids...

Let’s be realistic.
The PA’s position is that it does not and will not recognize Israel as a Jewish state, and that roughly 5 million refugee descendants have a ‘right of return’ to Israel. What they are offering is to create a Palestinian state in the West Bank, and a temporarily binational state in what used to be Israel proper, which will soon dissolve into civil war. Of course, as long as Palestinians insist on Right of Return for Palestinian refugees, there isn't going to be any two state solution. But even assuming that the Palestinians will offer acceptable terms, the two-state solution is not going to work. The reason at :

Not Lebanon or gaza, but a Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria.
Israel’s worst security threat comes not from Lebanon or Gaza, but from a potential Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria:“Israel is plagued from the north by a terror machine in Lebanon, and from the south by a second terror machine in Gaza. However, Israel’s north and south border regions are populated by fewer than 200,000 Israelis. By far, the worst terror threat, therefore, is the potential third terror machine, in Judea and Samaria, just opposite the homes of millions of Israelis. In order to understand the M-E : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2008/...

The Israelis have not lived up to their prior agreements not to confiscate land, removed the Palestinians who owned that land, and then resettle Jews on that same land. They have signed several different agreements not to do so, but the practice still continues. What makes anyone think they will live up to any future agreements? In the end, the Americans always get the blame for Israeli actions.

Thank you, Herr Goebbels, for the propaganda. You always blame the victims just like Herr Riechsminister did in the Warsaw Ghetto. You steal their land and kill their children and blame them when they resist. You obviously learned that from the Nazis.

Yes. The Israeli military has been planning and tracking this 6 year old for years now.
Maybe hamas shouldn't have setup to launch rockets in her backyard?

Israel pulled out of Gaza a couple years ago. There are no longer any settlements in Gaza. Remember the pictures of the Israelis being forced from their homes by their countrymen? Israel has turned Gaza over to the Palestinians, yet they continue to attach Israel. The ball was in Hamas court, and Hamas has chosen bloodshed over peace.

Hamas uses human shields, a UN violation. Hamas fires rockets and kills innocent Israeli civilians. This is an act of war! Israel responds, yet the Hamas propaganda machine wins again.

What about all those innocents killed by Americans in Iraq/Afganistan? Does that make Americans "Nazis"? I think not.

I won't even bring up suicide bombings. Hamas are the real "Nazi's", determined to kill Jews! Hamas will be destroyed, just like the Nazis were.

Israel can wipe out Gaza in a matter of hours, but don't, because they have what is known as "compassion", and want "peace".

The same cannot be said regarding Hamas, Hezbullah, etc. Where are the crematoriums in Gaza? Oh wait, there aren't any!

Don't say obnoxious, hypocritical things. I recommend reading a history book. There's plenty of texts, since the holocaust is the most documented event in human history! Quit trying to distort it.

People need to read Hamas's charter. It reads that is will never recognize the existance of Israel, and is determined to the "destruction of Israel". Its tough to make peace with your neighbors, when your neighbors don't even recognize your right to exist!

If Mexico/Canada started firing rockets into the US, the US should just sit back and take it, right? Not that this would happen, but I'm using it as an example.

Perhaps the US should give back the Louisiana Purchase to the Native Americans because they "ripped them off". All Americans should get up and leave immediately. Again, example, but very similar to what the Israeli's go through.

Israel aquires land in DEFENSIVE war, yet they are not allowed to build on it? Come on.

People need to look at the big picture, and realize for Pals, its a win, win situation, since the world looks at them as "the underdog". Israel left Gaza, so they could make their own state. What did they do? Make it a terrorist haven. What about Jordan? That is much of old "Palestine", but its not enough! They want it ALL.

They should be punished for using Mosques, schools, and hospitals as launching pads for their rockets.

As I've said before, Israel can wipe out Gaza within a matter of hours, but don't because they have compassion, and want peace. They also have the right to defend their citizens, by whatever means necessary.

Where's the UN? Sitting in New York, doing NOTHING! surprise

Obviously you know little about the Nazi history. Secondly my fear of Islam is greater than my fear of Jews and Israel.

The big lies.
Peace will never happen without realism and truth. And realism must begin with rejecting the big lies and manipulations,(the big lie about Jerusalem, the big lie about the refugees, the big lie of the Palestinian peoplehood…), before it shatters any hope of peace not just for Israelis and Arabs but for the rest of the world as well. The center of the dispute is not Hamas or the Palestinians but the West and Islam. The historical and political truth about rights and legitimity can be read in its 5 parts at : http://israelagainstterror.blogspot.com/2007/...

A Christian writer –Reland- chronicling his trip in the land of Israel in 1695/6 confirms :
No settlement in the land of Israel has a name of Arabic extraction. The names of settlements are mostly of Hebrew extraction; some of Greek or Latin-Roman. In fact, no Arab settlement (except for Ramla) has had an original Arabic name to this day. Most names of Arab settlements are of Hebrew or Greek extraction which have been impaired and replaced by meaningless names in Arabic. There is no meaning in Arabic for the names Acre, Haifa, Jaffa, Nablus, Gaza or Jenin and the names of cities, such as Ramallah, El-Halil and El-Kuds have no historical or philological roots in Arabic. In the year 1696, the year in which the tour was taken, Ramallah, for example, was called Beit El, Hebron was called Hebron and Mearat HaMachpelah was called El Chalil (a name for Abraham of the Bible). The hamas charter's main claim is it will defend muslims and Islam against their enemies. As far as complaining against the UN doing nothing Israel has ignored UN resolutions more than any nation on the planet.
Once Jordan ignored the UN rule and didn't make Jerusalem an International City, barred the Jews from the Western Wall and the Mount,
and started all those wars, suddenly
the UN became important. Now that the Security council and the UN is
filled with over 22 Muslim countries, suddenly Islam cares...

hahahahah.

And Hamas chose to launch rockets..so Israel did what any country would do to protect itself...what did Gaza expect...a celebration and a free meal? Maybe an invitation to school for suicide bombers?
