I don't know any Republicans that don't want to change how healthcare has been. The cost is so high because doctors are allowed to price gouge the insurance companies. Don't believe me? Go to your doctor and tell him you no longer have health insurance and need a discount since you will be paying out of pocket. Then compare the two prices for the same procedure.
Which 36 countries rank ahead of America in healthcare quality? I find that hard to believe, considering all the foreigners that travel to the US for medical treatment. But let Obamacare come to full capacity and you'll see US medical care plummet.
Insurances are the biggest cost problem, I give good example, somebody I know was complaining that they had pain in their back, and the docter suggested a MRI to see what was wrong and the insurance company said no, and made them goto therapy instead for 3 months was getting any better spent all that money on therapy which was a waste of time and money by the Insurance company they decide to let them and doctor perform an MRI here to find out that 3 months of therapy by the Health Insurance Company created major problems and MRI showed that therapy actually made their back problems worse and more ruptured disc in the spin and if the Health Insurance company would allowed the MRI to begin with the damaged would have not been so bad, the doctor told them but he had to do what the health insurance company wanted not what was in the interest of the patient.

I'm telling you this garbage law is going down. The people won't pay the new tax even if they have the money. The states don't have the money. There aren't enough doctors and there are going to be less doctors soon - not more doctors.
If Obama insists on trying to enforce it, the states will secceed - one by one...
Social Security needs to go down too by your argument, and all the New Deal Legistlation and start all over since its outdated for the times which the healthcare law was based on the same argument of the New Deal Legistlation Roberts said which he is right.

You agree with what I'm saying but you prefer to drive America off a cliff with Obama at the wheel?

the ones that drove america off the cliff was Wall Street in 2008 & US corporation with the use of Government Insurance OPIC(overseas private investment corporation)which is no different obamacare in my book because it provide insurance to US corporations that move overseas.

Overseas Private Investment Corporation

The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) is the U.S. Government’s development finance institution. It mobilizes private capital to help solve critical development challenges and in doing so, advances U.S. foreign policy. Because OPIC works with the private sector, it helps U.S. businesses gain footholds in emerging markets, catalyzing revenues, jobs and growth opportunities both at home and abroad. OPIC achieves its mission by providing investors with financing, guarantees, political risk insurance, and support for private equity investment funds.

Romney is not the man, he was the pick from the democrats for the GOP, and it shows how many democrats crossed over to vote for Romney.

Firstly, I agree that insurance companies pretty much suck. They deny things that should be allowed to save a buck, and many times the opposite happens.
However, in your story, if there was no MRI before physical therapy, how is it stated that physical therapy made the herniated/ ruptured disc worse?

they kept irritating the nerves and it ended up doing nerve damage by bone on bone during their so called therapy and it was making the pain worse not better by any means which the doctor said and Insurance company should have allowed the MRI to see why there was pain to begin with and even the orthopedic surgeon agreed too, but there again the Insurance Company is between you and your Doctor and not what is best for the patient but the Insurance companies bottom line.

In less than 24 hours after the Supreme Court ruled that Obamacare was Constitutional a few new polls have come out that show the law has gained popularity even to the point of being seen as more positive than negative (a first for this law). It was priceless to see the unpatriotic right-wing tea-baggers lose it completely yesterday as all their hopes came crashing down to reality, LOL.
President Obama is too brilliant for these ignorant tea-bagging idiots, LOL.
You are so full of it. Romney pulled 1 million the first day after the ruling. Dream on. And BTW if you are 76 you will see just how wonderful this free healthcare is.

I see what you are saying.
What should happen is when the insurance company denies the MRI, the patient is allowed an appeal with representation stating if the appeal is denied, the patient will have the MRI performed anyway, funded by council. If the MRI shows damage that requires surgery, then the insurance company is liable for MRI, legal fees, and surgery plus recovery funding.
However, if the MRI shows no damage, the patient is liable for all the previously mentioned fees.
That would change the way a lot of this bogus BS goes down on both sides of the coin.

I've paid into it for roughly the same amount of time, but I would be willing to sacrifice in this way to help save this once great nation.

We used to be better people. We are better (and worse) than those who left us with this great gift called the USA.

Liberalism is the cause of America's decay. There is corruption to blame from both parties, but the root cause of America's demise is liberalism.

Romney is America's last hope. Seccesion (and even civil war) will happen if Romney is not made our next President. We are not immune from repeating the past. Sure, we're fat and lazy now. But we are still our father's sons.

Agreed. There's no money to pay the penalty. Still even if there was, the people will not pay.

I agree. Except Romney is the lesser of two evils.
Secession or Civil War may not be a bad thing.
This country needs an alternative to the bug two that has us defining insanity.

I think that Romney knows that this is his chance to "step up" and become one of the great Presidents. Compared to Obama, he's a Mormon Boyscout. Nobody is without fault - not in these times... But Romney is better than your average citizen. There is no fault in success - as the radical communist/socialist bolshevics would have us believe.

Romney has a chance to be another Lincoln. If we give him the chance. Obama is the anti-Christ. He must not rule.

I am waiting to if there will be a 3rd party, I wished the Republicans would have got behind Buddy Roemer.

There won't be a third party candidate and even if there were, you would be wasting your vote.

Romney can save this country - That's what matters.

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Sagittarius

Don't be surprised if a member of the family is unpredictable or does things on the spur of the moment today. There's nothing to worry about because they won't do anything too alarming or disruptive. In fact, their actions will be like a breath of fresh air and they may even help you to escape from a current rut. So don't hesitate to be that little bit different yourself, either.
