You know what? Mitt will work with democrats to get things done. He will work "across the aisle" as he did in MA. He doesn't care about your politics, he cares about results -- as a true businessman does.
Republicans didn't filibuster Obama -- Obama didn't even get some votes from his own party because he wouldn't consider other points of view and work with them instead of against them.
Obama is a politician, Romney is a proven leader.
What has he led aside from a small group of LBO guys to separate Americans from jobs and help find new ways to avoid taxes on income? What has he done aside from further enriching himself personally at the expense of thousands of pink slipped employees, some of whose pensions vanished in the wind....or into an IRA somewhere in the Cayman Islands or a Swiss bank account that benefits the Romneys?

You remember the story of Jesus throwing the money changers out of the Temple? Well, Mitt Romney is a money changer. The platform of the party is terribly divisive, an embarrassment. It actually pits the poor against the wealthy, and you're still wondering who is fueling class warfare? The Republican party is doing exactly that with its' war on women, on gays, on the poor.

Obama has pursued the agenda on which he ran, not always successfully, but he has had successes. Mitt Romney is the consummate politician who shapeshifts at will to become whatever is politically expedient.

How about the First Lady's speech last night! She was dynamite. We like her a lot in America. She has a higher favorability rating than her husband, than Mitt Romney, and than either of the two Vice Presidential candidates at 63%. She's for real, and the majority of Americans wholeheartedly approve of her role and of her.

EITHER what never happened, or quit posting OPINION as fact. there are just as many knowledgeable people that believe that THIS version of the FG's policies, LIKE FDR'S, only pro-longed THIS recession. we have NOT hit 'STOP' yet, to begin to go FORWARD.
I can't help that too many of my fellow citizens have become cowards and refuse to face the obvious, the historical, the TRUTH,
wait.. no matter wins the WH, much pain and economical dispair is just around the corner. Mr. Inflation and Ms. Double-Digit UN-employent are coming... and they are bringing more than their overnite bags!

did u see the Hispanic part of the New People's Democratic Party when the male Congressman gave his speech? he really laid it on thick about responsibile and working people getting their share. did you see some of the faces in the not-so-adoring crowd? maybe it was something he said, and said, and said again...
the lady Congresswoman from NY via PR, I had to listen real close the first few times she said 'working'... I thought she was saying 'walking'. she didn't exactly wow! the crowd, either.
was it just me, or do Democratic Hispanics sound more ethnic than Republican Latin-Americans? could it be their close relationship with illegals?
I don't think the Dems diversity is bonding as well as they put on...

Latinos political figures in the Democratic Party outnumber their Republican counterparts by a ratio of 10 to 1. Some glue-sniffing Republican idiot was arguing the contrary.

Robbery Victim Strapped With IED Found Inside East LA Bank by White Supremacist Tea Baggers

HUNTINGTON PARK (CBSLA.com )— An East Los Angeles bank was evacuated after a robbery victim strapped with an unknown device was found inside the building, sheriff’s deputies said Wednesday.

Two suspects with ski masks reportedly abducted a woman in Huntington Park early Wednesday morning, according to deputies at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s East Los Angeles station.

The suspects transported the victim to a Bank of America branch at 941 Atlantic, where they reportedly strapped the device to the woman and ordered her to withdraw money, deputies said.

They fled the location with an unknown amount of cash, according to deputies.

Officials evacuated the bank as bomb squad members arrived on the scene.

Hey Ntr, thanks for the stat. Some people just don't want to admit the truth to themselves.
All that Hispanic bashing and minority hating Tea party members and far right Repubs indulged in during the past 4 years has cost the Republican party votes, not to mention respect.
Yup! We've heard all their crap. In November they'll hear ours. Repug support among latinos is at historical lows.

I know what you mean. I am helping a few families as well. They work hard, but are not looking for help, they are looking for opportunity. For most people those opportunities evaporated with the bush presidency; and Obama has done very little to turn it around. So from my point of view, what we really need is opportunity.
So bush and the GOP eliminated most opportunity, and Obama and the democrats haven't done nearly enough to bring it back. I won't vote for the GOP because they are the people who caused all this pain and suffering you are talking about and Romney appears to suggest we should go back to the bush policies, like we ever left them. I can't vote for the democrats because they protect the GOP way too much. I don't like the GOP policies so why would I vote for democrats who support those policies?
no.... YOU do not know what I mean with those last few words!.........those families were ok with the ones YOU mention...BUT the present man's policies Have got them just at that edge WHERE they PAY a high price for trying to be "a ask what I can do-not what can you give me".. type person! That matters! That is the real shame of this whole deal!

What about the one who worked as a missionary? Is that not worthwhile? If you had 5 sons and they all went into the military, great. If none went into the military, great. That is what is/was wonderful about America. Each child can create their own path.
And last I heard, we have an all-volunteer military.
This country needs soldiers, not missionaries. He was serving his "church", not this country.

Daily Horoscope for May 22

Virgo

Keep a pinch of salt handy today because not everything you hear will be the gospel truth. Someone might have manipulated the facts to make them sound more acceptable, or they may have got carried away and forgotten to tell you something rather vital. Try to keep misunderstandings to a minimum by being as straightforward and honest as possible, and by not simply assuming that people know what you're talking about and therefore not bothering to explain properly.
