True, it is the shell game, and you have taken your eyes off the table.

The unemployment is due to the tea-bagger congress doing nothing.

A GOP candidate for President whose main accomplishment,(and he brags only of his business experience) is off-shoring US jobs, or closing American factories and sucking the bones; he is part of the problem, not the soplution.

And yes, we are far better off with Obama than McCain; yet Obamba could do more. He could cut off excess Federal spending to all CD's which send in more than they get from the US Treasury.

Obama could whipsaw the districts of thosse Congressmen and Senators who vote to close the government, or eliminate the middle class tax cut.

Ha, Obama has all the tax dodgers on his staff, not a shred of evidence that Romney ever did anything like that. I guess when you don't have a record of success to run on then you have to attack windmills to have something to talk about.

Even funnier. Right-wingers blame all Democrats for what one Dem says or does. Already right-wingers are blaming Obama for Reid. Take that back and you'd have a point, hypocrites!

Obama just finished telling me in a commercial that the economic mess we are in was caused by trickle down or supply side economics. He hung trickle down on Romney saying that is what got us in this mess in the first place.
It really bothers me that he says something so stupid as the sub prime crisis was caused by supply side economics. Either he thinks I am that stupid or he is, either one flies all over me.
Even though that is not at all what Obama says in his commercial, what you said is true. The supply side of the economy caused the housing bubble.
The republican talking heads like to say it was those damn poor people getting loans they could not afford.
That is wrong. It was upper middle class people getting more loan then they could handle. Real estate became a risky investment, with the possibility of a nearly 100% return if the house could be flipped.
What killed the housing market was buying a house you could not afford, then get a equity loan, use that to pay the mortgage for 5 months until you can flip the house for twice what you bought it for. Only too many people got stuck in the middle.
So Obam's commercial is correct. The republican plan of "give the rich tax breaks so they will want to create jobs". Is a bunch of crap.
Taxing the wealthy more will make them have to make more money. By more investments and job creation.

Typical LIB.

In his heart he believes anything less than 100% taxation is a tax break.

The Top 10% of taxpayers( those making $112,000 plus ) pay 70% of the income tax while the bottom 49% pay zero.
That means that LEFTY wants 30% more out of the top 10%.

I've refuted you erroneous mindset with facts numerous times.
* You claim the POTUS Bipartisan Simpson-Bowles isn't bipartisan .
* You claim that HR 72 from Feb. 2010 to review regs that affect hiring is a RW conspiracy to erase Dodd-Franks even though it was supported by 150 Dems in the house.
* You ignore the 22 other House jobs bills " Dirty Harry " Reid has tabled.

You are as open minded as Vladimir Lenin and your hero is Joseph Goebbels Hitler's Propaganda Minister.

Yes.

Another interesting wrinkle is that the GOP keeps blaming "Barney Franks" for the credit crash, which was caused by the GOP president not enforcing existing laws.

A critical reminder: Almost all of the 'questionable bank loans' have avoided default. The greatest contributer to the 'housing credit crash' were the actions of the unregulated "mortgage brokers" whose loans were bundled into unreliable security packages worth less than their face value.

You are an idiot if you believe supply side economics caused the mess. You say that then go on to talk about people borrowing money and real estate deals. Even if you had made a bad argument about how supply side economics caused the crisis then I could give you more respect but you make no argument for it at all, I presume because you don't even know what it means. This is what makes me so mad that people are so stupid as not to spot something that wrong.

The mess we got in was all about derivatives, mortgage backed securities, credit default swaps, and de-regulation (signed by Bill Clinton). Obama can ignore all this and just say it was caused by "the previous 8 years" because it is slightly complex and people like you can't see through it because it hurts you brain to look at something complex.

But as we see with Romney and other wealthy people, they pay a LOWER rate than the poor & middle class. Many rich pay ZERO in taxes- like Romney did for 10 years- because they can hide all their money overseas.

Romney want more tax breaks for the rich when they already pay less taxes than the average American.

That's why he doesn't want to release his taxes; people will see how little multi-millionaires actually paid in taxes.

Reid did not accuse Romney of a criminal act, so it is not a question of guilt or innocence. Since Romney has been hurt by this accusation, yet still won't spill the beans, it is logical to assume that by revealing his tax returns, Romney believes he would be in even greater trouble than by keeping them secret.

Many Republicans dislike Mitt Romney, often characterizing him as a shifty character, with no core values. Romney will not win the election, not because he is Republican, but because he is nothing.

I'll disclose mine when Dirty Harry discloses his...how is that for fair play ?

Dirty Harry Reid = Joe McCarthy.

Both slimballs.

One GOP.
One Dem.

Daily Horoscope for June 17

Virgo

You'll really enjoy the company of people who make you think today, especially if they can keep you entertained and amused at the same time. You aren't in the market for anyone who's too set in their ways or who thinks like a robot. You want lively, intellectual conversation and the chance to give your brain some exercise, and a vapid conversation about last night's TV isn't going to do it for you.
