Doesn't McCain also have the same "zero" executive experience as any other candidate?

BTW, Palin's city hall office looked like an old barn house. What a wealth of experience she'll bring to Washington.

Hawaii must take note of where its governor has cast her lot. The poor choice of their candidate for president is explained as "challenging things happen." Stuff happens. Nice job Brownie.

The RNC platform is no better than chanting, "four legs good, two legs bad" (Republicans good, taxes bad). There was nothing of substance stated in last night's convention speeches. The truth is, executive experience (of which John McCain has none and Gov. Palin precious little) is a non-issue. Experience and judgment is. Although the RNC can "zing" the Democratic party as it likes during the convention, the painting is mere diversion.

Note what words the governor did not use: "Bush" and "Republican". As Milton Friedman said, to spend is to tax. By compounding the national debt, our president has effectively taxed our futures away. The Republicans have already taxed our future, it will be up to the Democrats to collect the bill before the Republicans can drive what economy remains into the ground. The Republican party has forsaken responsible government for short-term political gain. The Democrats must continuously expose and strike at this underbelly.

The "people" of Hawaii will NOT tell ANYONE that Miss Linda Lingle is doing "just fine". She isn't fine nor is doing fine.

Too bad her Luxury SUV wasn't in the background of her speech, yeah?

Sad, sad, sad....

Picking Palin was a "Rovian" brilliant move. All the controversy surrounding this choice has activated the torch carrying Christian right wing of the Republican party whom they were afraid was going to sit out this election. That along with good old fashioned racism should be good enough to carry them over the top.

How much more can this country take. We need new leadership, new direction, not a sideshow version of what we have. We now attack countries without cause, spy on our own people, threw out that pesky constitution and have allowed religion to run governemnt. Thomas Jefferson must be rolling over in his grave.

Amusing to see the obamidiots bring up the no experience issue about Palin, when their own stooge running for president is given the green light to "learn on the job"
just goes to show you the idiotic mentality of these chocolate carter supporters.
What has Linda and all her experience accomplished?

Anyone can post anonymously and make weird statement like you did. I look at the person. Not necessarily democrats or republicans, but who can get the job done.
You're just not being fair by hiding behind your SB pen name while attacking other people by their real names.

The truth is our Governor has done an outstanding job and if she could run for office again I would vote for her again.

I was very impressed with Palin's speech yesterday too. She was unknown to me before last week. Yes she does have some good experience, but no one has any experience dealing with countries like North Korea, Russia and Iran. So that must be addressed some place from someone.

If the Republicans are so experienced, then why don't they cite their accomplishments rather than talk about their opponents?

What has Linda Lingle with all her experience accomplished during her her tenure? What happened to her New Beginning and localized school boards?

Just like the time Linda Lingle ran for her 1st term we needed change. We need change again at the highest level now. Before the republicans were supposed to be for the people, and the democrats were for the business and the money, this thinking has reversed. As we feared 8 years ago when the republicans took over so did they with our national budget (debt). Obama reflects change, hope, and a chance for us to get back on our feet. The republican party I'm sorry reflects the same o same o, debt, wasted lives at war, families being separated because of war, and big businesses as well as foreign countries making billions if not trillions of dollars off of us, gas prices soaring, our cost of living soaring, and our way of life being controlled. "No Freedom"......

1. Yes, anyone can post, like you, what's your point? Nothing I said was "weird", one just has to look at the state of Hawai'i to figure it out.

2. What's weird about my statement? Is there something REALLY weird or are you merely a republican just making noise?

3. What is an SB pen name?

4. How is posting my comment by any name not fair? What does a real name versus my sign in name have to do with what Linda has and hasn't done for Hawai'i?

5. What Linda has and hasn't done is quite obvious.

6. I love your comments about no one having experience dealing with certain countries.:)

John McCain ran the Navy's largest squadron for several years, so he does have management experience. BHO and JRB have never managed anything.

The minorities and youth were there, but you had to watch Fox News or C-Span to see them. The biased mainstream media didn't show them.
