Mitt Romney goes bold (and risky) with Paul Ryan vice presidential pick

Aug 11, 2012 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: Washington Post

The news that Mitt Romney is expected to name Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan as his vice presidential nominee today in Norfolk, Virginia amounts to a decidedly bold stroke for the typical risk-averse GOP presidential candidate, a pick that will almost certainly turn the race into a choice between two competing - and strikingly contrasting - visions for ... Democrats now have to address the real problem which are the jobs, economy and the National Debt.
All they have been doing is to degrade and mud sling and lie. The American people are tired of it.
Why hasn't Odumbo passed a balance budget in almost 4 years.
USA was downgraded the first time in history by S&P under Obama Administration and unemployment has went up from 7.5 to 8.3
Pack you bags Odumbo you are out in NOV.and leave the WH china when you leave.
It is Bush's Fault....Ignore the fact that the House and Senate under Pelosi and Reid caused the collapse please!....Mr Bush was in the Executive and allowed the Collectivists to accelerate the decline

The Democrats have always had their focus on the economy. The Republican RINOs were busy chasing DOMA, birth certificates and teleprompters. It's about time the Republican RINOs got on the same page as the rest of America. They are progressing in their focus.

I donít think the President has done a good job.
His performance is dismal.
His team with the exception of the Secretary of State has performed way below expectations.
Guns for Cartels blows my mind. What idiot would approve such a stupid plan?
The worst oil spill in American if not world history occurred on his watch.
He has stifled economic growth with his policies.
But here is the problem. Romney is lost within himself. The Democrats are going to continue to isolate him with their attack adds. He had a remote chance of winning before the VP pick. Now he doesnít have a chance at all.
Romney should have picked a competent woman or minority as VP. Not that Ryan is not intelligent. I just donít think he will help win the election for the Republicans. Even Romney wasnít the best choice in the first place but nothing can be done about that now.
The Republicans are going to have to live and learn.
Well we have to decide if we are ready to stop bankrupting America.
I believe Romney made a Great Pick

Oh sure Ryan will out perform him no doubt. But can he win over the hearts of American People? Many of which are retired and have Medicare. This over 55 crowed is very leery of changes.
Obama is going to scare the elderly into thinking Romney Inc is going to push them over the cliff. This baby boomer generation is already looking at Romney in a negative light.
Iím ready for a change in government. The President was not the best choice for the Democrats. Opra pushed him over the top. He was just another bull sh**er and he got the job.

More poor people. They need jobs, not welfare.
America has been for sale for the past 30 years. I think Unions have had a lot to do with that. Also greedy business stock holders and owners. A hell of a lot of jobs went overseas. Not even in the same hemisphere but to China and the far east.

We do need to get America working but itís going to take a partnership with Unions and owners. A commitment to keep jobs here in America. Trade more with our neighbors in this hemisphere and less elsewhere.

Look at Detroit and that will show you the end result of what greedy Unions and greedy owners will do to a community. There is fault on both sides and including government.

Ann and I thought it best to usher in Paul Ryan as our running mate on a weekend, between news cycles, while most Americans were not paying much attention. We just want you to know weíre still the same casual people from Earth that youíd like to love, even though Paul is our concession to our Tea Party friends. Weíre going to need votes from them in addition to traditional Republicans.

When I introduced Paul as the next President, I was naturally referring to myself and not Paul. I was just testing to see if you were awake, which of course we hope you werenít.

Smile, point and wink.
