Right. I mean, we're at an 8.3% unemployment rate! When he took office it was 10%! By this rate, we'll be back to around 5% unemployment by 2016! I mean, he's asleep at the wheel!
He has no record to run on! He hasn't accomplished ANYTHING! Like, for example, the Affordable Care Act, Children's Health Insurance Reauthorization Act (providing 4 million previously uninsured health care), ending the war on Iraq, bin Laden, executive order to repeal Bush era restrictions on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research, signed Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Act, expanded Pell grants, etc. Not just was he the first president to endorse marriage equality, but he appointed more openly gay officials than any other president in US history!
Just don't tell anyone that he's been the most effective president since FDR! Otherwise, what the hell would us conservatards keep whining about?
Technically, if we fell below 8.3% we'd be near a historic low for the US. People often forget this when it's not their candidate in office.

He's not leading the country, not even from behind. He's been on the campaign trail for over a year, fund raising, vacationing, playing lots of golf, holding the Wed. Concerts in the "Peoples House" (Of course just ordinary people need not wait for their invitation, must be a Hollywood celeb. or big bundler or great donor of money or a Union bigwig to get one of those, but don't worry, WE get to pay the bill) and in general being way to busy to meet with his Jobs Committee, to attend to the very real Fiscal Cliff we are facing, you know the one that will land us back into (if we actually ever go out of) another recession. The jobless number INCREASED AGAIN this week and where is Obama? Don't know, not at work in the White House though.

But, didn't he PROMISE that if we only spent a TRILLION dollars on stimulus and SHOVEL READY JOBS, the unemployment rate wouldn't go over 8%? To get back to 5% unemployment we have to be creating more than 350,000 jobs a month starting LAST MONTH bozo. No one is going to hire or create a job with all the unknowns this president is putting out there. Higher taxes? Maybe, maybe not. More regulations? Maybe, maybe not. See the problem? NO ONE but a small handful of people even like OBAMACARE, call it the Affordable Care Act if you want, it's not affordable, rations care and TAXES too many people. Typical lemming post. He makes people long for Carter back as president.

Under Clinton (8 years, most with R controlled congress) and Bush (6 years with a R controlled congress) we averaged 5% or less. Just saying.

Better check again.

The historic low would be more around THREE percent (not the 8.3% that you suggest.

NOTHING affordable about obamataxcare, bozo.

We found that about three quarters of again, whatever you want to call them — taxes, fines, penalties — about three quarters of those costs will fall on the backs of those who make less than 120,000 a year. It’s a big punch in the stomach to middle class families.

Stephen Moore, economist.

More taxes. Obamacare imposes $502 billion of new or increased taxes and fees
Loss of existing coverage. As many as 35 million people could lose their existing coverage because of Obamacare.
Higher premiums. Americans who purchase coverage in the new Obamacare exchanges will find that health insurance is still very expensive.
Rising health care costs. As premiums and overall health care costs continue to rise, middle-class families, including those receiving a subsidy, will be left paying more.
More government control of health care. Obamacare transfers massive authority over to the Secretary of Health and Human Services and expands the role of government in delivering care and coverage.

Many, many businesses will be hiring part time college or young workers and NOT hiring single parents to avoid the requirement of providing healthcare.

You lefturds are sooooo gullible.

It started to spike up above 6% around October 2008 towards Bush final month, liar.- around the time the dem congress pushed through that bailout that Obama and McCain both voted yes to.

Current rate 9.7

How do you call shovel ready, cash for clunker failures, 18 massive green energy failures and bankruptcies on the backs of taxpayers..........successes? Compared to FDR?? FDR best depression beating prgram was WWII!

3 years later and the RINO's are still waiting for Mr. Obama to personally come to their doors and offer them a +$100K a year job bitching about Mr. Obama. Rush & O'Reilly already have those jobs. Real Americans have pulled on their own bootstraps and done what it takes to get on with life.

The ONLY things nobama is effective at is: playing terrible golf, blaming Bush and taking credit for things he didn't do.

His only successes have been with Bush anti-terroism policies, Bush tax cuts barley keeping down another recession and, uh, campaigning!

Bush expanded Federal Employment by 1.7 Million, He inherited 4% from Clinton, when he left office the Rate was 7.8%, in Feb 2009, 10 Days after Obama's inauguration the Rate was 8.1%

As a comparison, the GOP Spending Cut decreased public service employment by 700,000 Jobs as Obama was creating a climate to expand the Private Sector Workforce by 5 Million over the last 29 Months. That was part of the GOP Scheme. To increase unemployment by firing and defunding Teachers, Police and other Public Service Workers to gain some traction in this election.

Do you think the rest of the Nation was not paying attention to the Republican obstruction project, why do you think the Republicans Lead Congress has a 10% Approval Rating? Gonorrhea has a higher Approval Rating than the Republicans in Congress for that very purpose and strategy used to prolong the Bush Depression.

THE EMPLOYMENT SITUATION: FEBRUARY 2009

Nonfarm payroll employment continued to fall sharply in February (-651,000), and the unemployment rate rose from 7.6 to 8.1 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor reported today. Payroll employment has declined by 2.6 million in the past 4 months.

Keeping down another recession was an accomplishment being he received a Failed State Economically and Financially in the middle of another Depression from George Bush in Jan 2009.

Unemployment is .02% higher than he received from George Bush who inherited a 4% Unemployment rate from Democrat Bill Clinton before he implemented the disastrous Tax Cuts responsible for the Trillion Dollar Budget Deficits today.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Cancer

Today's Full Moon will have a powerful impact on your health during the next few months. Maybe this is the spur you need to inspire you to take better care of yourself, such as improving your diet, getting more exercise or finally consulting the doctor about something that's worrying you. It will also be the end of a chapter connected with your work, but don't fret because this ending will lead on to a new beginning.
