Hopefully, the possibility of one or several Supreme Court Justices retiring soon will wake people up to just how dangerous it would be to elect anti-gun, anti-2nd Amendment Obama.

Obama is not anti-gun. Read what he said today. McPain is flip flopping to tialor his message to the gun freaks. The Court only disallowed federal restrictions without any qualifications. Guns remain subject to regulations where those regulations are carefully crafted.

You're whistling in the wind, girl. Obama's anti-gun position is well documented.

And to say, "The Court only disallowed federal restrictions without any qualifications," is also incorrect.

What the court actually said can be seen here ...

Obama is much too dangerous to be elected President of the United States.

Can you believe it? Apparently in 2001 the NRA called McCain "one of the premier flag carriers for the enemies of the Second Amendment." Another Flippity flop?

"Presumptive GOP presidential nominee John McCain is set to address the annual convention of the National Rifle Association later today after the group's leaders tried earlier this week to minimize past differences with the Arizona Republican. But Larry Pratt, the head of another pro-Second Amendment group, says McCain is no friend to law-abiding gun owners.

The National Rifle Association's (NRA) Wayne LaPierre described McCain Tuesday as a "friend to gun owners." However, Pratt of Gun Owners of America says the NRA made a more accurate assessment in 2001 when an NRA publication called McCain "one of the premier flag carriers for the enemies of the Second Amendment." Pratt says "that was an accurate description, which I don't have any reason to think should be changed."

Pratt says one indication of McCain's disdain for gun owners is his supposed campaign finance reform law. "This man has cost us and our members tens and tens of thousands of dollars fighting his efforts to squelch political speech so that gun owners can't communicate to the public about anti-gun records of people just like John McCain," Pratt points out.

The most restrictive sections of that law have since been ruled unconstitutional. But Pratt notes there is an even better indicator of McCain's real feelings on gun ownership.

"We certainly don't have to rely just on his efforts to chop up the First Amendment, because his voting record has been quite hostile to the Second Amendment. Anybody that takes George Soros' money to go and campaign against gun shows in state referenda isn't exactly a friend," Pratt contends.

Soros has funded efforts to restrict or prohibit private ownership of firearms both in the U.S. and around the world. McCain served as a pitchman for the anti-Second Amendment group Americans for Gun Safety, which was reportedly started with seed money from Soros.

Pratt's group has given McCain and both Democrats in the presidential race "F-minus" ratings. "Frankly, the Second Amendment has been taken off the table and John McCain has lost a potential critical ally in this election," Pratt asserts. "And people are going to have to decide on other issues that they want to vote for the Democrat or for the Republican based on things that don't relate to the Second Amendment."

McCain is, by far, the lesser of two evils.

Obama refused to sign a congressional amicus curiae (friend-of-the-court) brief in support of individual Second Amendment rights in the Heller case, while 55 of his Senate colleagues - including John McCain - lined up to do so.

Elect Obama and you can kiss the 2nd Amendment goodbye.

There seems to be some concern over Obama's birth certificate. Have you guys heard anything about that?

Jeez, I'd hate to see The Chosen One lose the election over a technicality.

Especially after weathering the storm of association with racist militant blacks, terrorists, and radical Muslim sympathizers.

Could you give more information about the "concern" regarding Obama's birth certificate? Why is that an issue?

again...why don't you respond? I'm really busy but I'd spend more time debating you, IF I had time.. I support Obama and I find it completely HILARIOUS that you have an issue with his birth certificate?

May God bless you and save your soul, in spite of your hatefulness.

Yeah, I've seen it, and a bunch more with the same old lines. Only this one has the worst narrator. Who is this guy? Talk about robotic. C'mon, you guys are going to have to notch up your production values if you want to keep anyones attention or convince anybody. Which I sincerely doubt this one will.
Just trying to be helpful.

OMG! It can't be. After all the hard work and struggle to get to this point. And now this. Concern over Obama's birth certificate? Please say it isn't so. I am so disheartened. I was a big Obama supporter until this. His birth certificate! I still can't believe it. Well, that's it. If the democrats aren't smart enough to catch this technicality (whatever it is) BEFORE getting this far, then I've had it. Thank you Jimmy Hos Mom for pointing this out (whatever it is). It certainly has enlightened me! I am so fed up in fact that I am renouncing my citizenship and moving to as far away a place as I can, like France.

I just can't imagine life is very rewarding, when you have to get up in the morning knowing you'll be blogging the same old stuff and forwarding the same old email smears. It's gotta be boring as hell. And I have to wonder, who do they think it will convince after all this time? Who hasn't already heard all of this countless times played out all over the media and internet? I kind of feel sorry for them, that this is all they have to work with. Can't be very hopeful or promising.

AS USUAL, OBAMA LIES IN ONE OF HIS FIRST GENERAL ELECTION ADS. Obama does seem to be a habitual liar. Even in one of his first general election ads he just can't seem to tell the truth. It is rather pathetic, really. Here is a fact check article on the ad:

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama has now joined the airwaves in Wisconsin with a political ad. In the ad, he claims some legislative victories, but a WISC-TV analysis found he might be taking more credit than he deserves.

For the first part of the ad, Obama discusses his family and values, a blue-collar history and patriotism, all things many pundits believe he needs to emphasize to bring in working-class voters. "That's why I passed laws moving people from welfare to work, cut taxes for working families," he says in the ad. WISC-TV found that needs clarification. Obama cites laws on which he worked in the Illinois General Assembly.

The first is a bill that changed the Illinois public aid code, a welfare-to-work measure on which Obama was a lead sponsor. The second bill created an earned income tax credit in the state of Illinois. Obama was not a lead sponsor on the bill but joined colleagues before the bill's passage.

"And (Obama) extended health care for wounded troops who'd been neglected," the ad says. A WISC-TV analysis found this statement misleading. Obama is talking about the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008, which is an overarching bill that authorizes military funding. It was passed by the Senate on Jan. 22, but Obama never voted on it.

Sen. Dick Durbin declared him "necessarily absent." The vote was the same day as the Democratic debate in South Carolina. Obama's campaign said he authored a part of the bill that had to do with medical treatment of veterans, but he missed the vote.

http://tinyurl.com/4vpma6

THE LIES KEEP COMING: OBAMA’S NEW GENERAL ELECTION AD IS, AS USUAL, MISLEADING:
Obama's latest ad repeats an often-stated claim, saying he "worked his way through college and Harvard Law." We know Obama took out loans to get himself through school. The only back-up the campaign provided for this claim was a quote from Obama's book "Dreams from My Father" having to do with a construction job he had one summer while he was in college, and an article mentioning his job as a summer associate one year at a big Chicago law firm. We asked campaign spokesman Tommy Vietor if Obama held jobs during the school year, or other summer jobs, but he said only, "He had the two jobs I told you about." Unless Obama had a good bit more employment than his spokesman was able to describe for us, it's a real stretch to claim he "worked his way" through school.

The ad also says he "passed a law to move people from welfare to work, slashed the rolls by 80 percent." Actually, the Illinois law was a REQUIRED follow-up to the 1996 federal welfare reform law worked out by President Clinton and the Republican Congress. Welfare rolls did go down by nearly as much as the ad says, but Obama can't claim sole credit. Obama was among five Senate sponsors of the measure. It was passed by both chambers of the Illinois Legislature and signed into law by the governor.

My people are working to discredit your Obama. We will spread any rumor to make him look bad including calling him a terrorist and a Muslim. McCain will serve our national interests better. Obama says he will treat the Palestinians, on whose land we occupy illegally, with fairness and we cannot allow that. Obama may not bomb Iran and drive your oil prices through the roof. Bush and McCain will. Look carefully at what we do over the coming months.
