My family has been (Lincoln)Republican's as far as I can remember, but since Roosevelt (Franklin)we have voted mostly Democrat until Nixon. Since Democrat's got us into the Vietnam War, and like so many other's, we lost a family member, Nixon was "The One" (sorry, Barack, Nixon was the first "One").
