Distorting the Bible? Glad to see that we should follow verbatim the book that tells us that working on the sabbath is punishable by death. Tell that to the working parent who has to work a job on the weekend on top of the one or more during the week to afford the basic amenities of life in America. If you're gonna have a weak attempt at knowing the Bible you need to be up to date on that little thing called THE NEW TESTAMENT The Old Testament which you're quoting is the foundation of Christianity, however, when Jesus came he fulfilled all the laws and now we are living in a time of grace. A person is not put to death for working on Sunday. It is our duty to worship God everyday.

I suggest you spend more time reading the Bible and less time criticizing it.

Nice work Greg! BTW, there's a big difference between honoring the Sabbath and not working on the Sabbath. In that day and age, fields and farm animals still had to be tended to and fed - 7 days a week. The commandments tell us to honor the Sabbath - not sit around and do nothing.

Also, Im pretty sure the teachings of CHRIST were the foundations for CHRISTianity, not the old testament, but thats just a guess.

You are correct that the Sabbath is on Saturday. Christians worship on Sunday to celebrate the resurrection of Christ.

The old testament dove tails into the new testament. Prophecies made in the old testament are fulfilled in the new testament.

I recommend that you do a little research on Obama’s so-called religion, black liberation theology. First, here is a link to Obama’s church where they admit they preach black liberation theology, and that it is based on the teachings of James H. Cone. They offer his seminal book about Obama’s religion on their site, also. It is called “Black Theology and Black Power.”

After you have completed your research, you will find that Obama’s religion is NOT CHRISTIAN, like he professes it to be, but racist and divisive. Then, you need to figure out in your own mind, what it says about a man who would practice such beliefs for 20 years, who would expose his family and children to this theology of hate.
