Romney appeals to Independents too.

Let's face it, Romney attacks the Problems while Obama attacks the people.

Just look at the rabid left's attack on Romney for his religious beliefs.
Are you holding your nose when you spew that rubbish?

It is a surprise to me that Mormonism has not been "attacked" by those religious-hugging lefties and righties?

Religion should be off limits - including those made up fake smear tactics from the rabid right who spewed their specious comments about a president's non-religion.

The Guy resigned...he wasn't fired. You obamatrons never seem to be able to make any sense. Believe me, Democrats will take back our Party after the huge losses this coming November.

Mitt was very good as a governor. He never let his religion get into the mix. He was never seen going to church etc. He served coffee, alcohol and people smoked eventhough he does not do these things. As a retired state employee, he was fair with us. He did not give away the store like the democrats. All you people out there know is what the drive by media puts out to you. Also Romney Kare is nothing like Obummer Kare. We had two companies reduce there premiums this month. Tufs and Fallon Health Care reduced their premiums and the othe had low increases.

I am surprised that you think I have only lived here. I am also retired Navy before becoming a retired state employee. I was re-assigned to Boston in 1954 and spent 14 years on ships out of Newport. Did you hear that the a former Democratic mayor of Worcester along with Ray Flynn are endorsing Mitt. Today Gallup has Mitt neck and neck with Obummer. He was in Afghanistan making a political speech to the troops. The Dummy Krauts are surely getting jittery. Maybe this election we can clean out the congressional delegation in this state. We need some new blood with ideas that are not socialist in nature.

Amazing how the GOP can proudly push a Palin, would was clueless on foreign affairs, as next in line for the Oval Office, but they push out a knowledgeable adviser to their Pres. candidate because he's gay.

And RMoney will not be that "new blood" - whether he is a"socialist" or a pseudo-socialist or just some rich white man with multiple bank accounts.

Gay are more robotic in their support of the left than ghetto blacks. it is easy for them. they are only concerned with themselves and their issues regardless of the impact on every one and everything else.

There is no good reason why this man should not have been given this job. He is undoubtably better qualified then the next person chosen. I thought we were past this kind of petty behavior.

Gosh, how sad that is only true of gays. Republicans, and Tea Party types in particular, are ALWAYS completely altruistic -- aren't they?

Get a clue.
"the openly gay Grenell had been hounded from the campaign by anti-gay conservatives"

"We are disappointed that Ric decided to resign from the campaign for his own personal reasons. We wanted him to stay because he had superior qualifications for the position he was hired to fill," Rhoades said.

superior qualifications
.
.
too bad for team-Romney that his conservative base cannot abide an openly gay person as part of the team.
reminds me of the Boy Scouts.

From all we see it seems that Repubs are more interested in leaving their kids a Country worth having. That is good enough for most parents and grandparents who care. The others will no doubt mindlessly vote Obama.

You are probably right -- which suggests a great deal about Bishop Romney's alleged "leadership."
A "President" Romney would probably require that all bills he signs have the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur of the Tea Party visibly attached -- so that he can demonstrate to them that such bills are free of doctrinal or moral error.
Yup -- a POWERFUL LEADER. NOT!!!!!!!!!!
Those were two cool terms you used “Nihil Obstat” and "Imprimatur”. I had to look them up since I was unfamiliar with their meaning (and I’m a Catholic).

By appeasing a fringe but vocal segment of the republican party, he alienates the more centrist majority. Included among this group are democrats and independents. The concept of a republican “big tent” must be all smoke and mirrors.

Romney is certainly Not beholden to social conservatives. Aren't you the jackass that was harping on him being a Mormon anyway, Bigot?
Yes I did read the article.
So you think Romney is not beholden to social conservatives??? Does he know this? You might drop him a line to let him know.

Aren’t you the person that posts utter rubbish and flings allegations based on nothing more than the musings of a delusional personality, Prevaricator?

Daily Horoscope for June 19

Aries

Your boredom threshold is lower than usual this today so don't be surprised if you start to feel restless. Ideally, you should alter your usual routine and do something totally different, because that will certainly keep you interested in what's going on around you. Watch out if you decide to spend money because you might part with a lot more than you intended.
